A lot of other songs float around on the internet claiming to be Guns n' Roses songs. These songs are 99,99% certain to be fakes. A lot are instrumental songs, pre-1994 Guns n' Roses live recordings or demo recordings or just plain simply songs by other artists. Please do NOT believe everything you find on p2p networks. You can find a list of real Guns n' Roses songs in the Guns n' Roses (pre 1994) rare song guide and a list of rumored titles that have not leaked in Common GnR Fakes thread. However, a lot of other clips and songs also circulate. Please keep the "fake until proven real" rule in mind.

The Checkmate clip:
One clip that is floating around that is fairly likely to be real is a 16 second clip of a song entitled "Checkmate" that leaked in may 2006. At the time of writing this clip has not been proven real or fake. The clip however has vocals and is likely to indeed be a Guns n' Roses song.
