Welcome To The Jungle
Its So Easy
Mr Brownstone
Live And Let Die
Better
Robin Solo
Sweet Child......
Knocking On Heavens Door
You Could Be Mine
Dizzy Piano Solo
The Blues
Richard Fortus Solo
Out Ta Get Me
November Rain
Bumblefoot Solo
My Michelle
Patience
Nightrain
Encore:
Paradise City

What a short and disapporinting setlist with only 2 new songs. Way to come on late again and give the fans a shortened show. I wonder what sort of bullshit Axl's minister of propaganda Del James is going to feed us with next.

The only setlists I care about are the ones at the shows I go to, so for now I'll stay in "whatever" mode.

No the place was close to empty maybe 5000 people the place holds 16,000 Axl got a reality check or his feelings hurt because of the poor crowd response and attendance cut the set short and screwed the ones of us who went on a tuesday night for a show that started at midnight not to mention Halloween and having kids to trick or treat with.
What a dissapointment I expected to hear IRS and it did not get played Not sure I would pay to see them again the guitar solos were lame and far too often. I am gonna say it made me miss Slash I went open minded to the new players Out ta get me was my favorite part of the show. It was good to see Axl but they as a band were more like a circus act left a lot to be desired maybe he needs another 6-7 years by then absolutely no one will give a shit including me

I told you Americans don't give a shit about Axl Rose's new GNR . It's a shame but it is the truth . I don't know what else he was expecting , I mean he already toured the U.S without an album in 2002 and that was a disaster . Who the hell told him this would be a good idea to do again?? he should have released the album and then announce a tour .

you really think if slash were there it change one goddamn thing? you need to stop drinking and go to sleep now ..

it's bullshit anyone would think one, overweight sellout who's pimping himself to Volkswagen (by the way, he sounded like shit in that commercial) would change the outcome of tonight's Halloween show ..

maybe people in general dont give 2 shits anymore .. we'll never know, cuz of all the Slash cocksmokers who wanna make me think its all because of him that no one showed up to the show ..

If slash is so friggin great, why couldnt he sell out arena's with Velvet Revolver? No response, i didn't think so ..

i dont know the answers to the world, but I know your full of shit .. and i move on

Well, actually - Velvet Revolver played plenty of sold out dates.
And if they'd toured with the name "Guns N' Roses", they would have sold a lot more tickets.

A Guns N' Roses reunion tour would mean sold out dates in every venue. To suggest that it wouldn't is ridiculous.

I doubt it HV. I'm suggesting they wouldn't sell out a lot of venues... even under a 'reunion' tour banner. There aren't that many acts out there today that can fill any of the venues in America. Aerosmith and Motley Crue combined are doing worse than GNR in ticket sales. In fact, GNR is listed at #3 overall right now for concerts...

I think some people in this thread, and around the board, need to get their panties out of knots. Jacksonville had a lousy turnout because of it being rescheduled. I agree the band shouldn't have taken it out on the crowd by playing a small set list.

But, shit happens.

That isn't ticket sales (unless they've recently changed their way of doing business). Nice try though.

I went to this show very excited. I listen to all the demo's all the time and like all of them and was really high on this band. However, after seeing them in person they are definitely missing that chemistry that made Guns so great. Not to mention that there was no one at the arena. Probably about 5000 when Guns went on stage and by the time they came on to do PC there was maybe 2000 people left. I have read reviews of this band and most seem to be pretty promising about the band. I'm hoping that it was just a one time event and the rest of the tour goes much better.

First off, a GNR reuinion (with at least Axl, Slash, and Duff) would be a license to print money. Don't be ridiculous.

But as for the word on this particualr show....yeesh. Sadly, I forsee a lot of this. Half filled venues (if that). :(
Keep in mind that with new tour dates announced, the usual gang of idiots will ratchet up their unhappiness and overall negativity.

Its just what they do to cope when they fear there might be even a hint of good news for any line-up post 1993.
