I am probably not saying anything new, but I'll put in my thoughts any way. I was disapointed by the crowd size, but I guess that is how it goes sometimes. The fans that were there were really into the show, and most people stayed until the end. I might be going out on a limb, but I thought Sebastian Bach was just embarrassing. If you are Axl Rose and you are forging a comback, it seems like the last person that you would want to bring along is Sebastian Bach. His preformance was straight out of 1991, and I think he used the same outfit. If I could have left the coliseum and come back I would have. His constant screaming was just annoying. Papa Roach was pretty good. In reality they should have been the only opeing act. It was becoming incredibly annoying that Guns N' Roses was waiting so long to start their set. I have never had to wait so long for a band to come out. It would have been different if it had been a Friday or Saturday night. All things aside, it was an awesome set, and Axl truly brought the thunder. This is not the Axl Rose from the MTV VMA's in 2002; he sounded great, he was energetic, and he really seemed to be enjoying himself. I was really impressed by the band as well. The new songs sounded good and I'm glad that they rolled out their title track "Chinese Democracy". Axl's voice was right on target, and he really proved that he is still a relevant force in rock music. Once more people see the new GNR live, they will really take off again. This was a great show and I couln't have asked for more. My only recommendation would be: come on stage earlier, and dump Sebastian Bach.

I REMEM YOU!

Anyway, I was blown away, but I must admit, the band doesn't sound nearly as good playing the new songs as they do with the old. The new ones sounded kind of muddy and semi-unrehearsed. That is my only criticism. I was the guy wearing leather from head to toe with the red bandana towards the front, slightly right to center, in case I might have seen you.

As far as Sebastian Bach goes... I thought he did quite well minus all the technical problems with his mic and shit. You could tell he was so pissed about that. The songs he sang were great choices and personally I enjoyed it quite a bit. I "I REMEM YOU" shit was hilarious but I'm pretty sure it actually said "I'LL REMEM YOU" which is not even close to the right title. Was it me or were there a shitload of fights last night? I mean damn.

I saw six fights and that doesn't include the guy being taken out as I was coming into the arena at 9:30 or so.

bach was kinda annoying, i agree with that...but expected it. As far as the wait for GNR...anyone who has been a fan for any time knows to expect it. I didnt expect them to come on till 11:30, and it didnt feel like much of a wait at all honestly. They played 2.5 hours, which is crazy long, You are lucky to get 1.5 hours out of Rob zombie. Papa roach is a teeny bopper so not much to say bout that.

Axls voice was badass, better than ever. Excellent show. Madagascar was far better than the demo or any other live versions online.
