Anyone know what went on with Robin in a song about mid-way through (just before "I Am Beautiful" by Christine Auglierra guitar solo with Bumblfoot I believe... What the F kind of solo is that) when he threw two different guitars on the floor and stormed off stage?

We had seats on that side, and there was some serious pushing and shoving going on back stage, and finally Stinson talked some sense into him and calmed him down, then he came out to that guitar solo.

PS... Robin... clean up your act a bit, will ya? You look just like the guy who I have a dollar to before the show who was huddled under a cardboard box in the parking garage and smelled like piss

yeah he looked pissed off. right after that lead he threw his guitar down on the stage too.

and ps that wasnt before beautiful. and beautiful is done with richard fortus, not bumblefoot. beautiful came after richards lead, not robins.

Finck was absolutely amazing at the Worcester show, so contrary to the last poster, I was worried that he'd leave the band. I was wondering what was going on myself, but all and all a bit of angsty guitar throwing action adds a desired spice to a bad ass show.

Robin should slam his guitar into some people's faces on this board.

The waveform of Chinese Democracy shows the true meaning of the song: 2 lightsabers...it's all about The Force. This shit beats spinning LP's backwards!!! Axl Rose welcomes YOU into the 21st century.....

That guy is a loser with his dress and beard and dumb stage moves. He's an embarrasment to that group. A lot of running around and movement, very little good guitar.
There were always ample warnings,
There were always subtle signs,
And you would've seen it coming,
But we gave you too much time

He could smash as may people in the face as he wants, that still won't make him a great player.

As Shades said "he's good, just not as good as he thinks he is". And this coming from a guy who was there.
"All these years later, he finally gets out there and he has two options:
Go and prove us all wrong, or screw it up. And he screwed it up, simple as that."

Hey!!

I was right in the front row and saw exactly what happened. Before the show even started, one of the crew was having major problems with the foot petal and wiring for his guitar. I dont know much about wiring.. but he was changing things and spraying stuff to make the wireless thingy stay lit. When Robin was playing, neither of his guitars were playing right and both broke strings.. he got really pissed after the second one broke. So the problem was with the guitars and wiring. As far as the solo's go.. I have been a Guns and Roses fan since 1986. I would be the FIRST to stick up for any of them as far as their music and singing goes.. but DAMM.. to me those solo's sounded really bad too. There must have been something wrong with the microphones and or sound because all the singers sounded like they sucked helium or something.. the bands themselves put on a KILLER concert; but i think the sound was shitty due to equipment. All in all, it was an amazing show.. ESPECIALLY from the front by the barrier; although I still cant hear anything..
