What are you favourite memories from Donington if you were there?
Mine was probably during GN'R, when Izzy came on stage I was like WOAAAH, then I started the
first Izzy chant "IZ-ZY! IZ-ZY", man that was fun.
Another good memory was during Metallica when the crowd kept copying James Hetfield for a minute, when he jumped, everyone in the crowd jumped. He must have felt liek God lol

Seeing Izzy for the first time was awesome.
My memories of Download are pretty crap though. It was an average show at best.

Having Izzy come on stage, I got that on my phone. Paradise City and the confetti flying down.

planting my face between Cherrys breasts was the best moment.
Metallica kicked ass, loved their show, tool were boring as fuck and guns were a huge let down - they made up for it with the manchester show though.

Tool were kick ass. O.o
It's cool you managed to get to another GN'R show. I feel sorry for anyone who ONLY saw GNR at Download. They have no idea how good the new band really are live.

Its not easy playing at a festival. I think they handled it pretty well, to say so many people were against them. I think they pulled it back at the end.
I was fooked for days after download. No food, endless hours of football. Thanks for Leigh and Sixx for keeping me hydrated!

I think the reason the mood of the crowd got better as the set went on was because of the number of people who left halfway through. Haha.
But yeah it wasn't all their fault. The technical difficulties played a big part. They were still far, far from top form though.

Yeah the MEN show was utter class. Much better than the other 3 shows I went to on the tour.
Well, Hammersmith wasn't far behind.
