OPENING NIGHT IN AUSTRALIA A MAJOR SUCCESS
Over 15,000 fans packed a sold-out Burswood Dome in Perth to see the first show of Guns N' Roses' 2007 run through Australia. Aussie fans showed their vocal appreciation of the massive production with deafening cheers and signs thanking the band for visiting Perth.
Axl shared a tale of an all-night tequila marathon in Mexico that brought laughter and cheers from the fans. Also bringing laughter and cheers was a cameo by Bubbles from the Trailer Park Boys, who sang "Liquor and Whores" with GN'R. Openers Rose Tattoo and Sebastian Bach both performed stellar sets that went over incredibly well with the crowd.
The next stop on the Aussie tour is this Wednesday night at the Adelaide Entertainment Center.

I hope Bubbles brought Conky with him. Conky might be the only puppet on the face of the earth who can talk Axl into releasing an album. http://youtube.com/watch?v=DyDjAF2xhl4

Welcome To The Jungle of Smooth Flamenco Beatz
Dre Day will make Axl's payday.

Pure Deladence, per usual.
They have to be really short on news when they specifically note that Axl told the crowd about his Mexican drinking party and that the crowd laughed. Or perhaps it's just Del masterminding the priorities.

Seriously, these "updates" are beyond embarrassing(and annoying). Just when we thought any news was good news in the world of GNR, these damn things make you beg for more silence.
I've seen freakin' tractor pulls described more interestingly and professionally...

If we make fun of these updates, we less likely to get more. We should want Axl and the band to get more comfortable giving updates.
I'm glad the shows sold well in Australia. I'm glad Axl's fans down there got to see him perform. It's always a lot of fun. Now hopefully he'll get around to finishing that album.
