ok guys, to clear up the widespread confusion at least a little bit, the time has come for me to share my - still provisional - table. using all available sources I could find, I tried to collect as much information about GNR (including Rapidfire and Hollywood Rose) studio sessions and recorded tracks, as possible. 80's era is not perfect, but pretty well done. 90's era is a mess, I've only been able to find little relevant info. and of course Chinese Democracy era is a total mess, so I just sorted the known releases and leaks into a chronological order. MASSIVE credits to everyone who helped me putting this sheet together! any informations is always subject to change. YOUR OPINIONS ARE WELCOME! My buddy interviewed Slash earlier today. During the interview Slash confirms that a new GNR record is in the works. He also comments on the rumors that he was at Axl's house recently. Take a listen and discuss https://wrif.com/episodes/talkin-rock-with-slash/

The rock guys remain completely untouched by the Me Too movement. In part because it was always part of their persona’s in the first place and in part because the insane groupie scene muddied the waters to an crazy extent. Duff climbed into this shit of his own volition because he is the most image hungry guy in the group. Duff’s “persona” is very important to him and his persona is that of a college educated dude who started a wealth management group to help other musicians and spends his time being a good husband, great father, and punk as funk. In reality of course, he has no college degree, his wealth management company never existed or even got off the ground, he’s been married three times and he’s using his wealth and parenting skills to turn his young daughters into Instagram-y Rockstar/models. His punk as fuck aesthetic is simply that, an aesthetic- wearing leather pants in front of his mansion/private jet/yacht. Duff is pretending the 80's never happened but Duff pretends a lot. He's actually kind of sad. He works his ass off for this persona because he is the forgotten member of the Big Three. It’s really more the Big Two and some other guy.

As long as Izzy doesn't say anything, he can still be the fantasy Izzy that people here make him out to be. What do we know for a fact about Izzy? That he left them before, that he doesn't tour (extensively) and that he doesn't like the circus of a giant GNR world tour. But somehow people are convinced Izzy's not on a huge world tour just for monetary reasons People believe what they want to believe. And Axl saying Izzy's Izzy is twisted in something negative. As for Duff: he's a great guy, he tours, is nice to fans, does charity, releases new music, talks to the press. But no, here, he is the big evil guy they have to shit on 24/7 while Izzy who's gone AWOL for years, is god. Lol. This isn't a knock on Izzy, btw, you don't have to hate Izzy to like Duff/Axl/Slash/whoever. Just like you didn't have to pick either Slash or Axl's side back in the day. You can just like them all.

Why? Don't you think it's personal? It only concerns Steven and his family and friends. No one else. His family told someone he's totally fine. So they obviously don't want to make a big thing about this. Why should GNR make any reference to it? The only thing that matters is Steven will be fine. Anything else is really none of our business at all. This is exactly what's wrong with all that social media shit. People think they're entitled to know everything. The family said he's fine. What more do you want? Even if it wasn't an accident, it's not our business. I don't get how some of you think at all.

One day the band won’t be around anymore and people will say “Damn, I wish I could see Guns live again.” Until then, I’m going to enjoy what’s given to me and whatever comes with it. See you in Charlotte and Vegas.

Clearly you guys aren't fans of the band or understand the bands or Axl's history. Axl has been doing pre show preparation for decades including physical exercise, stretching and having work done on his back. There are a number of articles that mention his pre show practices. Instead of knocking the guy down, maybe read and understand why he does preparation. One would think after decades of doing the same thing, as a 55 year old he might of given it away by now. The fact he is still doing it means it's for a reason. Might not be to your liking or reasons, but you aren't the ones up on stage for 3 hours plus. If you were able to see the man from close up, front of stage, then you would have been able to see the sweat pouring off his forarms and teeshirt. You would need to have physical stamina, fitness and a healthy body to continue being physically active for long periods of time.

anyone a member? I am going through some old stuff and I came across this, I remember I signed up for it for 1 year and I am pretty sure I was supposed to get a Newsletter every 4 months and I got this 1 newsletter and I never heard back from them, kind of makes sense if you look at the timeline as this was dated from May 9, 1996 and Slash left in October and maybe the band went into a disarray and they stopped sending them and making them, anyone know if they made any after this Volume 1 issue 3? anyone have any of the previous 2 Newsletters? it is odd though I received this in May 1996, and looking at the "Language of Fear" thing it talks about a contest and the entries have to be received by February 1995 and the discography says compiled November 1994 and Sympathy for the Devil was released in December 94 so I am guessing they just sent me an old copy.

Just want to clarify something- I saw someone made a post saying I have strong connections to the band so I want to clarify that I actually do not have any connection to the band at all. This news is true and I do know that for a fact but it's because of others who do have connections with the band that I was able to confirm it. Might seem like a small point, but it's important to me. I don't ever want to give the impression that I'm more connected than others or any sort of "insider"

Mr Brownstone was about geology; Welcome to the Jungle was about environmental conservatism; Nightrain was literally that: being on a train at night; You're Crazy was about mental health awareness; Bad Obsession, obsessive compulsive disorder.

Lol although I'd take Scraped and Shotgun Blues over the entire LA Guns discog so I'll gladly be a fan of the "average" Use Your Illusions over LA Guns' "interesting albums"
