Oh, I hadn't noticed Izzy reflected on the mirror. THAT is the kind of picture I was hoping to see when they announced the books of 'unreleased photos from Axl's personal archive' that was included in the Loaded box. How cool would it be if it had been done properly? The Axl & Erin picture was probably taken from the website of John A. Mozzer, a photographer. His website reads: 'welcome to my wild times during the 1980's-90's'. He has thousands of pictures there so no surprise that it might have taken time to someone spot it. https://jamworks.smugmug.com/Gallery-Openings-1980s-90s/Axel-Ko-Mo-Da-Bill-Barminski/ The guy Axl was close to, had this... claws? well, whatever it's on his hands. Case closed?

Remember when we were discussing here if Fernando was photoshopped or not on one of Melissa’s pics? Well, it seems like they remember and now they are joking about it

Fortus is just playing the game to some extent. He's got other things to promote and what's the best way to get eyeballs on that? By mentioning a GNR album, of course. Having said that, I'm sure he's just repeating what he's being told. I'm certain he's been told a nee albun is coming soon ever since he joined.

TB are not, and have never been, the enemy. And the band have always operated as a family.

I'm pretty sure there are multiple documented cases of TB not giving the salaried musicians info on what's next/when. Didn't Bumblefoot (and Stinson?) both say at different points - "yeah I haven't heard from management, no idea what's going on." Given how we've seen TB operate, it does not surprise me that the musicians we consider to be "in the band" are treated as pawns - remember how poorly Bumblefoot was treated? Axl, Slash, and Duff are the partners in GNR (I'm assuming that is, if Slash and Duff settled for less than that, they got ripped off) - I doubt anyone else is a partner. And no, for a rock band it is not common to have majority salaried and only a few partners. For nostalgia acts, it is more common, but for true bands, salaried hires are reserved for extraneous keyboard sections, session musicians, backup singers, etc.. GNR doesn't operate as a rock artist, they operate as a business.

With one Fernando already to be enough...

You have a real issue with how bands work. Well there's so many bands who have musicians on salary. This is how the industry works!

It can be done, you just need to flip the script on em somewhat. Our movie begins with Garth Algar being led to execution, having been captured by Allied Forces in Syria following his radicalisation and joining ISIS. Wayne watches from TV as Garth is led to his death and, aged 50, starts to look at his life and the choices he has made since we last left him. He still lives in his parents basement but since the death of television and his parents he lives alone, single, no friends to speak of, doing a one man youtube show watched on average by 2 our of his 8 subscribers. The rest of the movie sort of follows Wayne around Aurora Illnois in the grip of a crippling depression, from cars to bars to supermarkets, Gods Lonely Man, Wayne Campbell, as he searches for meaning and purpose in his life. He gradually turns to politics, becoming an ardent Trump admirer in a MAGA hat, growing increasingly suspicious of blacks and latinos. Slowly he begins to prepare, arm himself, for 'the day'. The movie ends as Wayne, armed to the teeth and wearing a black trenchcoat, strolls into Aurora Elementary School... Perhaps a few song and dance numbers somewhere to grab the girls in 'I like Illnois in June...how about yooooou?'

Nice of the people who found that footballer's body to not bother looking for the pilot! ''Ahh, we have the millionaire footballer - who cares about the other guy''. I bet if they had found the pilots body they'd have chucked him back in.

Richard is in a better position that most to know what is happening, so it is daft to just discard what he is saying. There were multiple barriers to release for CD back in the day. That is not the case now and Universal are happier people these days. Fernando's end of events comment also imply continued momentum It is also worth remembering that Axl released Rock the Rock. That means he has been in a studio to record vocals and he has also released something through Universal readily and without any drama

I thought "the guitar player" on this band was slash I thought the other guy was an "on-salary" musician presented by Axl Rose as a "member of the band" I am a bit afraid of calling said guy as "the guitar player in gnr" because Axl likes to change his mind about who is and who is not a member of his band remember this and then the live era line notes thing? see, it's complicated

I really liked the final episode, especially that speech on the reality show. Also, that exchange with Gordon Ramsey, he says everything to Ramsey that I've been dying to say ever since I saw that cunt on the telly. 'you think you're so hard don't you cuz you have a go at people in kitchens, who works in kitchens, ooo, gays and the french'

Amazing opinion based on nothing 👍 Fortunately, you really have no clue what's going on, and are just wildly speculating... In the last few years things In the gnr world have changed, it is entirely possible the guitar player in gnr is better informed than a forum user. Nothing may happen, but I'd guess that he would only talk about about plans like this if he was directly told that was the plan. Judging by how shy he is with details through the years, I'd also say all the other times he teased a record, he did so because he was told it was imminent.... Now that's my guess, and as good as yours, so do and say what you want with it.

Happy bday again Axl! The music that you created w/Guns is timeless and I love how I can listen to your music on the radio to this day. Yesterday my local rock stations played 3 GNR songs in a span of 10 minutes. It was AWESOME!!!! Hope you had a wonderful birthday!!!
