Hi, Due to numerous DMCA complaints directed towards the hosting provider of this forum, we are no longer allowing any links whatsoever to content this is shared, posted, or distributed by unlicensed or unofficial sources.   It's a sad day and we hate that it comes to this, but thanks to the sad and pathetic efforts of some even sadder and more pathetic individuals, the ability of this forum to remain online requires us to remove any links to content that is produced, shared, or distributed by individuals or sources that do not have a license or authority to post said material.   Discussion, concerns, and questions of this matter can be done so here: We apologize that it has come to this but it's the world we now live in unfortunately.   Thanks for your understanding and cooperation of this matter going forward. The way ticket sales are going it seems that a GN'R show is the safest place to be right now.

I'm just gonna go ahead and state the obvious: Days like today make up for all the shit we put up with as GNR fans.

Hello MyGNR Fam I've made a very hard decision that I'm going to share with all of you now: as of this post, I am leaving the MyGNR forum staff. I have a lot of things I'd like to share with everyone as part of this process- My GN'R-online story started back on a forum called newgnr and I moved over to a forum called GNRevolution after newgnr went away. I was part of the staff at GNRevo from quite some time before I ended up leaving that site in a very bad way which was due in great part to my own faults. The staff and majority of users were always very good to me during my time there. To this day, I remain ashamed of myself for the way I handled things with that situation. That really has nothing to do with MyGNR, I just wanted to say that in public. I continued to read MyGNR, mostly My World in the weeks that passed and I really had no intent on joining leadership of any GN'R forum ever again. However, I kept seeing little things that I thought could improve and kept getting the itch to help out. I reached out to High Voltage with a random PM and asked if he'd be intersted in me joining. We went back and forth a bit and he ended up deciding it was a good idea. No matter what's happened since, I'm glad that he did. I won't bore everyone with stories of what's gone on here since. There's a long history that many of you know. Sometimes good, sometimes bad. Always with the best intentions. I've never claimed to be perfect and I hope I've never given anyone the impression that I thought I was. My intention was always just to hopefully build a medium place for fans of all opinions to meet up. I believe I had varying degrees of success with that in my time on the staff here. I am now and will continue to be proud of my work here. So why is this happening? This is happening now because to be honest, my heart hasn't been in the band for a very long time. My heart was with the forum though, so I stayed on the staff much longer than I probably should have. I relayed my thoughts to Downzy earlier today and he's understandably upset but supportive of my decision. Downzy's handling of my decision is another in a long line of great things that add to my time on the staff here. I am extremely grateful for the friends I've made through the GN'R community both online and in real life. So what happens now? I am *NOT* leaving the forum but I am leaving the staff and mostly likely any GN'R discussion. As I said before, my heart just isn't in this band so I would most likely only contribute negative things to the D&N section that I worked so hard to help rid of negativity. It's best for me to hang out in My World & Seen That Movie Too when I stop by. I'll be posting in the usual threads in those sections, so you can look for me there and/or shoot me a PM whenever anyone would like. I want to say THANK YOU to the entire GN'R online community for all the memories. Thank you to the online and real life friends I have and I'll even say thank you to the people who are probably celebrating right now haha. Every person I've interacted with has made me a better person in some way, whether they liked me or not. Being made a better person through this whole experience is something I'll never forget, so as I said many times; I'm grateful for this whole experience. This isn't goodbye, it's just "I'm stepping down and I won't be giving anyone warning points anymore" haha. I truly hope for the best in the future for this forum, the online community and even this band who seems to disappoint us so much, but connects us all in some way. Thanks for everything and see you in the non-GN'R sections! -RussTCB

MYGNRFORUM, We greatly apologize for the inconvenience for the down time of late. We know everyone is excited about the recent developments and want to talk about everything that's going on. To give everyone a better picture of what happened and what could still happening, allow me to explain. This forum costs a lot of money to run. Sometimes advertisement dollars and the few people who join up to become Club Members help cover monthly costs. But mostly this forum loses money on a month to month basis. It's generally not more than $20-$30 and hence I don't mind footing the bill to ensure that Guns fans have a small corner of the web we can call our own. However, on occasion, whenever a big development occurs, the forum gets swamped with tens of thousands of new or returning visitors that requires far greater hosting services than what our current hosting plan affords us. Some times, like the 2016 Troubadour shows and the following reunion tours, the increased traffic sustains itself long enough to cover the increased hosting costs. And just to let everyone know, hosting costs for a forum like this one can get expensive very quickly. During the Troubadour shows and for a few months afterward, it cost over $1000 USD a month to host this forum due to the massive influx of visitors. The forum was generating some profits back then and as promised when I purchased the forum back in early 2015, those profits were used to pay for prizes, from concert tickets, books and t-shirts, for members who entered into our contests. The problem arises when news or activity develops and traffic peaks for a short period of time and then quickly drops off to our regular levels. What follows is that our hosting costs jump dramatically for the entire month despite the fact that the increase in the number of simultaneous users peaks for a very short period of time. Our hosting provider works on a two day rolling average, hence if our rolling average hits a certain threshold, our hosting costs jump dramatically. This has resulted in me paying $200-$350 a month out of pocket to keep the forum up and running a few times during the year. Not something I like doing but it doesn't happen too often so I accept it as the cost of keeping the forum going. I've read assumptions that I make money when the forum gets busy. Actually, just the opposite happens. Generally, I lose money when the forum gets busy as the increase in advertising dollars from the increased traffic falls short of the increased costs to host the forum. On Thursday we saw a dramatic increase in traffic, with the number of simultaneous users triple our usual average. If it was any other month I likely would have swallowed the costs and hoped traffic would sustain itself to generate more advertising dollars. But due to personal matters that involve much of my budget tied up for for the next month or so, I can't afford to cover the financial losses for month. I wish the recent developments had occurred any month prior, but everything happened at the worst possible time for me financially. So going forward you might find the forum inaccessible if I find we're likely to exceed our current hosting plan. I do apologize for the inconvenience but at this point I must prioritize the financial well-being of my family over uninterrupted service for the forum. That said, if something major were to occur, such as a new song or new live show that would generate sustained higher traffic, then we would upgrade our hosting service plan and hope advertising revenues offset the increased costs. This forum isn't going anywhere and we'll be here when something major happens. But as I manage a large financial development in my personal life I would appreciate some understanding, cooperation, and patience if the forum is temporarily out of service. Thank you again for your continued support of this forum and I look forward to getting everything back on track as soon as possible! Thanks, Downzy

Hi all, I have been revising the history section at Appetite for Discussion and thought I should give you a heads up about this. If this is new to you here's some background: I am currently in the process (and have been so these last years) of writing the history of Guns N' Roses based on what the band members themselves have said. The idea was to get a bit away from conjecture and biases and assumptions and instead handle each topic in the band's history from what they themselves have said. The good thing about this is of course that it at least tells their story from their perspective (not necessarily the truth, of course, but hopefully also not exaggerated stories to sell a book or to display a bias), the drawback is that it will be less informative on things the band members haven't wanted to talk about, or be biased towards band members who were more vocal than other. I expect this work to result in the most comprehensive source on the history of Guns N' Roses, ever and wherever. The format (or my prose) doesn't necessarily make it very entertaining as a long-read, but hopefully it can serve as a reference source whenever people want to go back and check up on something or to fact check statements. It should also be a fantastic resource for anyone who wants to write their own version of the history of the band. Pick and choose quotes and you can basically write whatever narrative you want. The way I go about doing this work is plowing through articles and interviews from the beginning of the band's history and forward in time. This means that the history section won't be finished until I have gone through everything ever written about the band (which is a lot). I update the older sections of the history whenever I come over newer articles that shed light on those periods. So it is a living document that is constantly refined and expanded. I am currently working on articles from 2002. To do something like this having access to a large repository of articles and interviews is crucial. Thankfully we have just that over at A4D, much to @Blackstar's credit (who we all know is awesome). In addition to having a memory and overview that is mindboggling to someone like me, she is also a skilled researcher and scholar. Currently, our database contains in excess of 2,500 unique articles and interviews, but it is growing day by day. I have copied all the articles into a word document and to give you an idea of how massive this database is, the document is currently comprised of 138 pages (font size 9) containing 1,836,917 words. Trust me, there is no book on Guns N' Roses that is anywhere as comprehensive as this, and what authors have done is start with a much smaller set of articles to basically create the story they wanted to tell. What we have is the real deal. The unabridged, unshortened, ultimate collection with its warts and all. If you want to browse this section and read contemporary articles from the band's history, this is the link to the index https://www.a-4-d.com/t2861-interview-and-article-index (By looking around you will also find that the site contains more articles that have simply not been indexed yet (this happens as I write the history.) My history writing is currently focused on the year 2002, but most of this work takes place in a hidden section of the site. As soon as I feel a section is finished (it never is, though) I move it to the open area. Currently the open area only covers the time period 1984-July 1987 (I recently moved everything else in anticipation of the revision work). I expect to quickly add more sections to this area over the next weeks so that it will contain the history from 1984-2001. The new revised edition contains more chapters, images, and more quotes. You can browse this area here: https://www.a-4-d.com/f1-the-history-of-guns-n-roses-as-told-by-guns-n-roses This is all free for everyone to browse and read. registration shouldn't be required (except perhaps to see images). Keep in mind that no section of the history is finished until I have gone through all articles. Currently there are almost no quotes from after 2002. Still, I hope you will all find this valuable and appreciate the work that we have done to get where we are. This will only get better and better.

Okay, we're going to put pause on this conversation for awhile. This thread has become pretty ugly and I think some time off is needed for everyone (including myself). A couple of things... People can believe what they want in the absence of any clear communication or statement by the band or management (Beta's comments notwithstanding). We have made numerous overtures to band management that this issue requires clarification on their part and they have chose to remain quiet publicly (again, save for Beta's comment that I would surmise was not fully informed at the time she made it). They have mentioned a few things "off the record" and I feel obligated to respect that fact despite the total lack of respect shown of late to this forum, its staff, or the online community by management. I can say unequivocally that the LLC used to take down videos last year (spring of 2018) was connected by GNR or GNR management and was co-opted by an individual who I won't name here (but really, we all know who I'm talking about). When this was brought management's attention, the LLC was immediately shut down. Obviously this did not solve the problem as the rate of takedowns grew exponentially using various trade organizations like the RIAA and IFPI. And to provide a little context, when this was brought to management's attention, one of the first questions we got back was "What is the IFPI?" There are working theories on how all of this transpired. Personally I do not subscribe to the notion that the individual in question was given direction by management to take down the videos. But others, including those on our staff, hold different views. What we do know is that an individual used an LLC once owned or controlled by elements of GNR to take down videos. This individual is in communication with the band management via email and perhaps other methods of communication. A member the band's management has publicly defended this individual from the allegations with respect to the recent removal multiple videos on various social media platforms. We also know that the individual responsible for at least some of these take downs have publicly and privately claimed to be working with the support of band management (though, I highly doubt those claims; I've always thought, regardless of what one thinks of band management, it would just seem beyond the imagination that they would authorize this particular low-life to do anything on the band's behalf). We know that other than Beta’s public defence of this individual, the band nor management have not offered much else with respect to clearing up this matter. So I'm going to ask everyone (including myself) to take a few days away from this matter. It's an incredibly frustrating situation that should not be happening. But this is GNR we're talking about. I've learned a long time ago that the best recourse with this band is to take some time off when things don't make sense. There will be other things to cheer or criticize down the road. As destructive as all of this has been in terms of fan relations, it's not worth spending weeks upon weeks yelling at each other over. Temporary (or perhaps permanent) disengagement is really the only therapy that's going to work at this point.

With any other band, it might mean "Hey we know the fans are talking about new music. And where's there's smoke, there's fire" meaning that new music is on the way. With GNR, it probably just means that whomever runs their social media just heard that phrase for the first time in their life. Then saw that pic of Slash and used it as a caption.

Reopening this thread that @sofine11made yesterday. We were in contact with Fernando directly today. He was asked 3 times throughout the conversation if the reddit account was his, but he chose not to answer that question during the course of the conversation. So... due his dodging of a direct question (THREE times!) we'll just assume the account is his.

Slash was on Trunk a couple hours ago on SiriusXM. Slash: "We're just doing this one run in the states and a couple dates in Mexico end of this month into November. That's it for Guns for now, and I think we have something coming up in March as far as touring is concerned. But then, obviously, everybody knows that we're working on new material, which is really exciting, and so, that's really primarily what the focus is. There's nothing in the Terminator movie, by the way." Trunk: "Duff has been out with his own record ... Where are you at with Guns N' Roses new music? Are you all working individually? Has everybody gotten together? A song, an album?" Slash: "I have nothing to tell you information-wise other than no, it's not that. Everybody has been sort of like, when we're in town, working on it. Then when we're out of town, obviously not." Trunk: "Would you like to do a full Guns N' Roses album?" (as opposed to a single or EP) Slash: "Everybody wants to have a full album released. I don't think that's really changed all that much. There's a different way of putting stuff out initially nowadays more so than ... you sort of look at that preliminary release a little differently now. At the end of the day, we will ultimately release a full album." Trunk: "On Guns N' Roses with the live shows coming up, I know you didn't start rehearsals yet, but is it basically gonna be more or less the same sort of set and what you guys have done in the past, or for these shows, are you working up some different things?" Slash: "There's a couple different things that we're talking about doing, that are sort of in the works to do. That we're planning on doing. So, I'll just leave it at that." Trunk, after the interview, about the news that a new GNR tune won't be in Terminator: "I'll give a little asteriks on that. About a week before it was announced that Slash was back in Guns N' Roses, true story, he called me. Not texted. He called me privately. 'I don't know anything about this Guns N' Roses stuff that's going on.'" (Trunk laughs) "So take that into the equation ... he threw up some serious smoke and mirrors on me at the time ... then a week later, the Not in this Lifetime tour was announced ... He's done that misdirection shit to me once or twice before."

You know how GNR could stop leaks? Go ahead and release music that your fans will happily pay for.

There's nothing to say that hasn't already been said in the thread For once, I literally have no words. This is the biggest face palm day for me as a GNR fan.

After much listening to fellow members and discussions amongst the Mod staff concerning the recent policy changes around posting links to unlicensed content, we've decided that the outline provided below is really the only course of action. To begin, the forum will not create a private or separate area for members to post YouTube links. This option actually creates more problems than it solves. First, it isn't full proof and the deadbeats responsible for this nonsense would likely access it at some point. The mod staff do a great job of cracking down on alt accounts by and large, but we're not perfect. It would only be a matter of time before the GNR deplorables that have terrorized the GNR fan community for over a decade would breach the walls and bring the section down. Second, the creation and allowance of a private section creates a liability issue for myself as owner of the forum and for our current hosting provider. Currently we cannot be charged or found liable for links or content if we demonstrate that best efforts are made to ensure it doesn't appear on the forum. Someone posting a link to unlicensed content on here doesn't necessarily expose myself or the forum to civil legal action or liability since we are merely required to show that reasonable efforts were taken to remove the post within a reasonable amount of time. Establishing a separate section of this forum with the sole purpose to circumvent the DMCA exposes the forum, the host provider, and myself to legal risk. Quite simply, a private section shows intent to evade copyright violations. Our hosting provider, if they discovered that our forum was structured to enable our members to post links to unlicensed materials, would surely drop us as a client. And while I see it as extremely unlikely, it could potentially open myself up to civil liability should the day GNR wanted to come after me personally (GNR management has already expressed to me in writing that our allowance for the discussion of the recent leaks put us in the same legal grounds as those who distributed those leaks). Some of you might want to "fight the power," but that's easy to say when it's not your potential financial survival at stake. As much as I would hate having to remove links to videos of taken by fans at GNR concerts, it's not worth jeopardizing the longevity of the forum or my own financial well being. The risk certainly isn't worth it over a band like Guns N' Roses, who have, by an large, become nothing more than business that prioritizes money making opportunities above all else. I'll repeat: the main priority with GNR these days is to make money. It's become my impression that concerns about the fans or music in general are a distant priority, if even at priority at all. So where does that leave us? Pretty much where we started last week. We will not allow direct posting of unlicensed content on this forum. We will no longer allow posts that link to unlicensed content. What we well allow, until told otherwise, is keywords by which people, with a reasonable amount of intelligence, can used to discover the content themselves. We ask that posters refrain from naming the source or platform when providing keywords that describes the content in question, but I think anyone with some level of familiarity with various video sharing platforms can figure out where to search using the keywords described. We get it: it's incredibly annoying, frustrating and disappointing, but it's the best of the bad options at this point. As we saw with the leaks, a tremendous amount of discussion is still possible on this forum without having access to it via the forum. At the end of the day, it wasn't YouTube videos that built this forum (YouTube didn't even exist when this forum first started). It was the community of passionate GNR fans who wanted a place to discuss anything related to the band and the music. The forum will continue to provide a platform where fans can learn, discuss and debate any topic that comes to mind. If this forum needs YouTube videos to survive then it's probably not worth saving at this point. Again, we apologize that it has come to this but there's not much more we can do or say on this matter. GNR seems to be on the forefront of having some real pieces of shit as fans. As much as I feel sorry for the community as whole who find themselves continually and repeatedly disappointed from the same old bullshit, I also feel sorry that there are people out there who have so little in their lives that taking away joy from others is the only thing that gives them purpose. How little in one's life does one have to have to make taking down fan videos and harassing online communities like ours a priority in their own lives? It really is sad that such sad little people exist. But that's the world we live in unfortunately. I do agree with many that it's a shame that GNR management doesn't feel compelled to do much or communicate their position on the matter. But understand that even though we're all dealing with it, the problem is larger than GNR and what they are likely able to do help fix it. The system that manages content rights and rights holders is severely broken. Until such time when anonymous losers can't lodge a copyright complaint, that only copyright claims can be filed and acted upon by the rights holders, there's not much we or the band can do. We're going to pin this discussion in the D&N section so that it can be seen as many members and visitors as possible. Feel free to discuss below.

I think I have a good perspective as I saw NILT 6 times, including night one in Vegas and the amazing Apollo show in NYC. Here is my takeaway from the show. I’m not going to even mention the setlist because I already know that is a hot topic. And yes, I now don’t care or at least just am not hoping for new music. Whenever it happens it happens, but I am now over it too. The tour merch did not have the NITL badge. It said Tour 2020. Snoop Dogg was the most exciting opener I have seen, even more then then Lenny Kravits at Met Life Stadium. I am not a musician, but the band seemed amazing last night. Like mid tour form. Frank I really like now, I think he fits right in. The only 2 songs I didn’t like his style were KOHD and YCBM. An older guy next to me said this was his 36th GNR show, and it was “ the tightest the band has ever been “. Maybe he was drunk or just filled with the excitement of Super Bowl Weekend in Miami. But those were his words. They were by far the best I have seen as a band. Axl at the beginning of the show sounded the best I have ever heard him live. Hands down. Maybe it was the sound system ?? His voice was really good and in lower register the first half of the show. From the middle on, started to get a little in the higher register, but still was totally fine to me. The guy is in his 50’s and overall I think he killed it. Slash is why I am a superfan of the band. He was just slash. I never personally saw him not have a great night in my 6, now 7 shows. He was great as usual. Hi light for me was his Solo on Chi Dem. I am not even a fan of the song. Richard is a fantastic guitar player, I think he is great, I think he knows his role in the band and does it well. Is he the Izzy songwriting low key heart of the band ? No. But he’s the next best thing, and definitely a better guitar player. Intro to Better with Slash, Duff and Richard in a tight little circle was bad ass, would love to find a video of it. It looked and sounded great. I don't like to nit pick, but Slither and the Kobe tribute were the low points. The energy was good, I was in section 106, pretty close on Slash side, and I didn’t see 1 person not having the time of their life the entire show. I had no premonition about writing such a puff piece review of the show, but I think they killed it. Amazing I went to this show thinking this is the swan song for me with them, and it made me like them even more. Sucks they won’t give us music, and they probably have albums and albums of material they could release. Whatever, it is what it is.

Anyone who was talking bad about the crowd in this thread obviously wasn’t there. The crowd was massive, and LOUD, and the people in the front had been waiting 4+ hours in A TROPICAL STORM to see Guns. I truly think people don’t realize that last night after GNR came off stage, through the night, we got hit with so much rain and wind that I haven’t had power at my house since 4:30 this morning. This show could have not even happened, but it did! i personally was about 2 rows back, right under Axl. As I’ve already mentioned, there was some sort of magic, or aura in the air last night. Im not sure if it was the fact that it had been raining ALL day, but as soon as GNR came on, it just all of a sudden stopped and cleared up, or something else just clicked. Axl was having so much fun running from side to side on the stage. He sounded and looked SO happy and was smiling and waving to the crowd. The little pocket of people around me was singing And dancing and jumping to every word to every song. When they ripped into Dead Horse we all went crazy and started clapping and encouraging Axl to go for it! We were singing the lyrics super loud and he was dancing and feeling it and Slash was smiling. I wish there was a video, you can kinda see it in Meegans but they look looser, more comfortable. I’d like to mention that there was no ego thrust in the middle of the stage, so Axl and Duff spent a LOT of time standing and interacting with each other directly in the middle of the stage. Some highlights- 1. The absolute POP during Welcome To The Jungle. You can see and hear it in Meegans live video. 2. During DTJ, Axl backed off on the intro and kinda lost the intro and Slash accounted for this and played an awesome little flurish to which Axl came running out into singing Double Talking Jive. It was awesome. 3. This crowd was bonkers. During Rocket Queen, some woman under the influence of some type of drug made her way all the way from the back of the crowd pushing towards the front. She made it to the rail and pushed everyone off of the rail. Security had to literally pick her up out of the crowd and take her away. Fortus was watching it as it happened, but I think word made its way around stage because before YCBM, Axl said something along the lines of “we are getting a little rambunctious out there. Why don’t we try to calm things down with this soothing music” 4. Shadow Of Your Love is so good!! I have some very high def video of Axl absolutely killing this song. My new favorite. 5. Civil War > Dead Horse > Coma. come on!!! How can you complain about the setlist when it’s like that right now!!! I think I peaked during this. I was waiting for Locomotive to make an appearance and it looks like it was scratched from the setlist? Im glad we got Dead Horse though. I think this was the show they wanted to make it their bitch, and wouldn’t be surprised if its dropped after this and only added at the last show. 6. Here is my stance on the covers argument: I agree, some of these songs maybe should have been dropped by now. But for whatever reason they keep playing them. But if this is what we get, so be it. The covers in the encore maybe were overkill, yes. BUT, apparently Axl said Seeker was an Audible and that they “called a quick team meeting and we are going to play another song.” So we could have left with 24 songs instead of the 25 we got, and that means you can tell they were having fun and wanted to stay a little longer. 7. As for the sound/timing/band issues, I honestly think this is Guns N’ Roses in its final form. This band is just SO good. So fucking good. Everyone around me was into it the whole 3 hours. Not many acts can do that these days, trust me. I think this show will go down as one of those secret gems that people who were there will remember forever. Axl sounded great. The whole band was having fun. Theres not much more you could ask for. There may never be a bootleg or full videos from this show thanks to the rain, but that is what makes it great. Those who were there know! To address the Axl being angry incident, Axl chucked his regular mic into the crowd as the band left the stage after Paradise. When they came back on stage after to do the bow, there was no 2nd mic. Axl was looking around like a mad man for a mic and he finally found one and it wasn’t turned up so he threw the mike towards stage left and then walked up to the front with the rest of the band, bowed 2 times, then took his hat off and threw it stage left as well. Seems like it was just a situation of trying to get a mic in a small amount of time and he couldn't. oh, and uh. I have a friend who was backstage and sent me a picture of the unedited setlist with the alts on the bottom. As of last nignt, Hard School is still on the alt’s setlist backstage and not presented to the public on social media. I think we can stop considering it a troll at this point. i’ll post some photos and videos when I can figure out how to

*Posted in main section with permission from RussTCB* Hi fellow GN’R fans, I’m a longtime MyGNR member, mostly lurker, and have been a member of the other forums since their inception. Back when I was a kid, I used to be a part of the AOL message board community. Perhaps some of you were as well. Anyhoo, I’m a lifelong musician/songwriter and also work as an attorney in California. A couple of years ago, I had a pretty serious health scare involving six months or so of some pretty intense hospital treatment. I’m alright now, but it definitely made me re-evaluate my life and my priorities. As a result, and with the help of coming into a finite amount of money that I wasn’t expecting, I decided to quit my law job for all of 2018 to live off my savings and get my entire catalog of music recorded that I’d written throughout my adult life and never really had the chance to pursue properly due to always working and/or being in school. It’s multiple albums’ worth of material, and the first batch is being released today. I also recorded several tribute covers to the bands who inspired me the most as a musician. Guns N’ Roses are obviously very high on that list. I chose to cover “Locomotive” in part to show how much I love the band, and also because I’ve long considered it to be the great white whale fan favorite that perhaps never got its due. I of course had no idea they’d start playing it live again a few weeks back. In fact, I heard my final mastered version for the first time at the exact moment they played it for the first time in Kansas. I got my completed mastered album delivered to me that weekend, listened to it for the first time that Monday night, logged onto the internets right after, and lo and behold, they played it! You just can’t make this stuff up. I wanted to share this with you guys since this is the place I’ve gone for a decade or longer at this point to hear from GN’R fans who are just as passionate about the band as I am. Whether it was posting a dingy garage-recorded cover of “Pretty Tied Up” in 2007, the Axl chats in 2008, or being at opening night of NITL in Vegas and posting a review, I have a lot of fond memories of this place. The album and these tributes were recorded without any sort of expectation of money or fame or anything like that. My music is just that important to me, and getting it done really turned out to be good for my well-being. I’ve never been happier. It’s safe to say that life’s a lot easier to go through without a head full of unfinished business. With that, I hope you guys get a kick out of this! Cheers. Youtube: Spotify (Entire album + GN’R & Pantera tributes): (Search for artist Marla Hooch) The album can be found at most other streaming sites including iTunes under Marla Hooch. Hello everyone. I don't think it's any big secret that GNR is planning on releasing a UYI boxset sometime in the future, like they did for Appetite and Lies. Before we even get into it, I cannot guarantee that GNR will ever release this, I am just told that it is being planned. But they are in the research stage now but, as you can imagine, there is a ton to go through. I am referring to audio and video. For example the Bob Clearmountain mixes of UYI that Tom Zutaut mentioned. Since there's so much, they thought it might be easier to ask you guys what to look for, i.e., what you would like to see in the box. Of course I will take any feedback offered, but more along the lines of rare recordings, shows we don't already have audio/video of, things that are theorized to exist, etc. Or even stuff you have that GNR/the label/etc. might not have. Please keep in mind that I can't guarantee any credit or anything like that. I'd imagine you would get credit if they end up using something from your collection that they didn't have, but otherwise I kind of doubt it. But this is your chance to speak (indirectly) to the label about what you want to see in this boxset. No, not interested in any ideas regarding pricing, knick knacks, etc. Just audio/video. So let me know (either reply here, PM, email, FB message, etc.), and I will pass on the info. Lastly, I just want to say that even if you know the label has something and you want to see it in the boxset, I can't guarantee anything. Thanks everyone, you rock!

These are strange times. People around the world are isolated in their homes, cut off from loved ones, unable to attend almost all the social activities they normally would. And in the midst of all that, you see people coming up with tons of incredible and creative ways to still create a sense of togetherness and unity. One of the many ways this is happening is through artists taking to the internet to cheer up and support their fanbases. From personal messages to online live performances to personal video's where they're playing or telling stories to sharing demo material or outtakes. And I think it's amazing because I don't think any of this is particularly profitable to them. It's artists trying to bring some cheer to the people who have supported then for years simply by staying in touch and keeping them slightly sane through all this. I've seen some things on Twitter from Slash and Duff, but that's pretty much it I think. But nothing of the sort from "the GnR camp". Nothing supportive or fun or interesting. Because Guns n' Roses doesn't do charity or non-profit. Hey, kids, if you want to stay sane you can always buy a fucking yoyo.

Ok, I never figured out the spoiler thing (typing this on a phone) so proceed with caution. Here goes on NITL: - Matt and Duff are playing in South America sometime in 2015 with Hollywood Vampires. The crowd is chanting “GNR” at Matt and Duff. Matt overhears someone (doesn’t say who, not Duff) mention that GNR is reforming and coming back to play SA the next year. Matt, knowing nothing about this, gets a sick feeling that this means he won’t be involved. - Sometime later, Matt confronts Duff about the rumor. Duff says “there have been talks” but nothing is set. Matt asks Duff to keep him in the loop with what’s going on. Matt ends up finding out about Coachella and the NITL tour when it’s announced publicly, same as the rest of the world. - Matt and Duff meet for lunch sometime during rehearsals for the tour. Matt is upset that Duff didn’t keep him informed as he asked. Duff says Axl wants to use his own drummer but Duff is frustrated because the guy can’t play drums. Matt tells Duff he needs to go back and demand that Matt replace Frank for the tour. - Sometime before the tour starts, Matt gets the text from Fernando that I mentioned earlier asking him to make some appearances. Matt replies, copying his own manager, that he would be interested. Fernando and Matt’s manager apparently speak and he comes back with the offer, travel expenses covered but no additional pay. Matt asks his manager to politely decline. - Duff and Matt meet for an awkward lunch sometime after the 1st leg of NITL. Duff asks Matt why he didn’t participate. Matt is miffed that Duff didn’t reach out directly and had management do it. Duff says there would have been money involved had he participated. Matt says that a positive thing from this is that he and Izzy have reconnected. Duff seems agitated at this and says “fuck Izzy.” Matt replies “well, Izzy says fuck you too.” Duff picks at his food and then says he has to leave for rehearsal. Matt asks why they’re rehearsing between legs. Duff says “because you’re not the drummer.” A fan asks for a picture with them on the way out of the restaurant but Duff declines. Matt thinks that Duff doesn’t want Axl to see them photographed together. They have an awkward hug outside and then part ways. Matt talks about this being the end of their personal and professional relationship. This is towards the end of the book. It seems that this was Matt’s last contact with Duff.

I made this overview of when songs debuted live and when they were last played live in both the old and new era. Then added how often they were played. This is all based on setlists.fm and updated until 2 November 2019. I'm not entirely sure about You're Crazy AFD version vs Lies version. So the numbers on the AFD one are a total of both. I tried my best to only include full songs, not intro's and snippets. But it's hard to distinguish based on the info we have. The list of live covers is, obviously, incomplete. Ps. Pro tip: You can just copy-paste this table to Excel and sort by most played, last played, first played etc.

My girlfriend just finished this amazing painting as a gift to me and I had to share it. Entirely free handed on a massive canvas. I’m still in awe

You must be very proud of your answer, (which btw is full of ridiculous insults) to post it on here, are you ?

When I was checking out it said "Leave a message for Bumblefoot?" so I typed "Paying $1 for me and $4 for the guy on mygnr who doesn't want to pay"

Slash has been posting pictures of Axl again on his insta. They must be busy recording something.

Sorry.....but anyone saying that Axl meant something racist by that remark is REALLY reaching or just needs something to be offended by.

So my beautiful wife @Whiskey Rose and I were digging thru some old photos and stuff today, and we found these old GnR ticket stubs. Hers is on the left from Toronto, mine on the right from Saratoga Springs NY, 3 days apart. It would be 26 years until we knew each other, yet we both held onto these stubs. We are gonna make a cool photo/ framed thing with these, because for us, it all started because of GnR... Anybody else have old school ticket stubs to post? Or GnR love stories? 😆 There’s gotta be something...

We've been too long without an official release from Guns N' Roses. In that time, we have been treated as a nuisance by the band's management for wanting new music, all the while hoarders collected hidden material. So let's raise one for The Chairman, who acquired the recent leaks and published them in full for common ears.

It's more like Disneyland. It costs a small fortune, and you get to see Mickey Mouse.
