  1. It's been around for a while but it's an extremely remedial term generally used by people can't express their argument correctly. Someone doesn't like something? They must be "butt hurt". They couldn't possibly have a legitimate concern, complaint or point, they must be "butt hurt".
  2. In addition to the news above, Episode 17 is out now. It's the first of a two parter we're doing about live albums. https://linktr.ee/Infectiousgroovepodcast
  3. All of this is painfully obvious to anyone who doesn't refer to users of this forum as "butt hurt". Also, there's a giant difference between being "butt hurt" and being a smart enough fan to know when the band continually shows they don't care about the fans outside of their money.
  4. Channel 33rpm on YouTube featured my vinyl setup and was nice enough to give the podcast a shout out. My set up begins around the 2:26 mark

Channel 33rpm on YouTube featured my vinyl setup and was nice enough to give me podcast a shout out / plug. My set up begins around the 2:26 mark:
  6. NITL live videos on youtube

Just to clarify, I was wrong and apparently he did NOT say they would be charging for the uploads.
  7. NITL live videos on youtube

See above where this was already clarified.
  8. NITL live videos on youtube

Right on. Thank you for the clarification / correction!
  9. NITL live videos on youtube

Supposedly, yes. Or at least that's what I was told.
  10. NITL live videos on youtube

I thought that I'd heard him say there might be a charge, but I could be wrong?
  11. NITL live videos on youtube

    Also this ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
  12. NITL live videos on youtube

That would certainly be cool. I sure as hell wouldn't, but apparently they're going to attempt to sell it in some fashion.
  13. NITL live videos on youtube

Lol. I don't doubt the footage is coming, especially since they're charging for it when it does.
  14. Plus it didn't didn't say "GNR Fam! Happy Mother's Day, fam!"
  15. NITL live videos on youtube

One thing I think everyone needs to remember is that Fernando did mention the possibly of this being a paid thing. He said it wasn't going to be like Metallica is doing it. So I hope everyone isn't waiting for this stuff to show up on YouTube.
  16. Arcade Cabinet / Retro Discussion

  17. The T.V. Show Thread

Just recently got into Community, which people have been telling me to watch for years.
  18. Last full album you listened to?

Mayer Hawthorne - Where Does This Door Go Matchbox Twenty - More Than You Think You Are Michael Jackson - Invincible
  19. Don't get too excited lol. Your idea is great, my execution of it may not be haha. You'll find out when the episode is released next week!
  20. NITL live videos on youtube

I'm pretty sure you're right. I'm glad I didn't state it as fact haha.
  21. I agree with that about his points. I learned a lot listening to him. It's obvious that streaming is the future, so I'm very interested in getting that system fixed so artists are properly compensated. I was kinda surprised that he (Oceanship) didn't really seem interested in that aspect. Seems he's just hoping for streaming to not be a thing lol. As we book more guests, I'm thinking future guest spots will be a little more fluid and conversational as well. It was an odd episode for me to host considering that I had my two Co hosts were not in the same room, then the guest was somewhere other than all of us haha. I think we did a decent job overall though and like I said, the goal is for it to get smoother. As far as Hitsville, yeah, it's crazy that she's never been. What's more surprising to me is that I've been there at least 5 times, maybe more and she somehow wasn't there. She and I are damn near attached at the hip, so I have no idea how I ended up there so many times without her! Lol. As soon as they re open, I plan to ensure that she goes. Maybe we'll do a Motown special episode the week after she goes.
  22. NITL live videos on youtube

OK, right on. Thanks for the clarification!

I'm setting a firm deadline of 12/31/2020. They can surely get something uploaded by then, right? In all seriousness...am I making this up or wasn't there some story about the company who filmed the Troubadour show not getting paid? If so, I wonder how that will get worked out in order for GNR to use the footage. Also, I might be making that up and it's not an issue at all.
  24. "What Movie Did You Watch?" - 2020 Edition

I just watched The Bodyguard (the 1992 Whitney Houaton vehicle) for the first time and holy shit, what a terrible movie. I'm far from the biggest movie critics, but there were so many problems with this pile of shit that I don't even know where to start.
