  1. Copyright Strikes....

All fine & dandy; like I said, I get where you’re coming from. But just a reminder: Axl is what, fifty seven? I mean, Rock the Rock sounded good, but just how many years do we have left, with his way of singing (or at least the way he used to sing before and during the AC/DC stunt), before someone like Nando goes "Hey, I’ve been acting quite like a douche, now that I think about it. Let’s change shit"...? Anyway, peace out.
  2. Copyright Strikes....

So on the one hand you’ve basically said we should tone it down, because they might pop in occasionally and make conclusions. On the other hand you’re saying that we should use some other platforms than the forum(s) for the communication, because this is their enemy territory anyway. See there’s a contradiction right there for me. If we use some other, private/social/whatever media, then why the heck couldn’t we talk some shit here in the meantime? (After all, that’s what it’s for, right?) The other thing is, if you’ve been using your own way of communication, why won’t you share the progress with us? Having been asked here, you refused to do so. I don’t understand why. Look, we may be on the same side in the sense that I am basically a nice fella who doesn’t like neither violence nor acting like an asshole online. But for me, explaining patiently someone in such position the advantages of online videos for years is not the way to go. They either must have understood it by now, or they’re idiots. It’s not a crime to not understand these basic things, but it’s seriously stupid to be in such position and not know that (and refuse to hire someone who does) and act the way they have. If you want us to take you seriously, post your communication progress; otherwise, it’s just nice talk but no results. Explaining patiently maybe for years? You’ve gotta be kidding me...
  3. Copyright Strikes....

I’m afraid if you’re in the position of manager of such a huge band and some fan has to explain to you the advantages of internet videos, it may already be too late for that. It’s like a surgeon going: "What’s this?" "That’s a vein, sir." "A what? Nonsense, never heard of. Let’s cut it." "But sir – " "Let’s cut it!" Also, just how many times do you stick your hand through a fence to get bitten each time before you realize what you’re doing is idiotic? Years of patience. Yes, we’ve been there, done that.
  4. Copyright Strikes....

I imagine this is how a co-manager of HTGTH would sound like...
  5. Axl, you sexy beast.

But but wtf, the design, I mean the pattern? Omg.
  6. Axl, you sexy beast.

What on Earth is it that Axl is wearing under those jeans? Try zooming.
  7. NITL is over, finito?

Once March comes, we may figure whether NITL is over or not quicker than we’d think. The first show, the first song, right there. If the first thing you hear after McBob’s intro is bass guitar, we’re probably screwed...
  8. Copyright Strikes....

    Ok then. Here's to hoping.
  9. Copyright Strikes....

You keep saying that, but where is all this really coming from? Like I’ve said before, no one from "our side" has been particularly exacerbating the situation lately. Have we? We’re not e-mailing this stuff to the management; we’re just talking on a fan forum. Apart from the Beta communication – and in cases like this, people are merely defending themselves in the first place because of the nonsensical steps TB has chosen – the only other recent communication TB has received was a response from people on FB asking them to add Sweet Child O’ Mine to the playlist, not knowing what "SCOM" is. That is the kind of communication the management pays attention to (if at all). Not guys venting frustration on a forum. So where’s this cumulating aggression towards TB you’re mentioning? Perhaps here, but let it cumulate, it’s not harming anyone.
  10. GNR references in pop cultutre

I’ve googled it, and it’s apparently a Rio 91 picture I haven’t seen before. There’s another picture next to it with someone who theoretically could be BBF, not sure. The kid is also wearing a GN’R t-shirt on other images. I would post a link, but it’s from gnrcentral and I believe we’re not supposed to post their links here. Just google "young sheldon axl rose poster" and switch to images. Nice find.
  11. Copyright Strikes....

Well, the fact that they apparently don’t understand that live videos could be of value to them (as you’ve said) speaks for itself, doesn’t it. How a manager of a band does not understand such a basic thing in 2019 is beyond by comprehension. We’re not talking about some minor country band from highlands here. But ok. And are we really constantly attacking them? All I see is this thread plus some others – it’s not like we’re sending all this text to the management via e-mail, is it. And if someone from TB happens to pop in, it’s up to them what they’ll choose to read and react to. Also, the only two major responses I can remember – apart from the recent Beta’s – was from Del, which was utterly dismissive and ridiculous, and from Nando, which... well, we’ve seen it. He chooses ulterior communication anyway, Reddit and whatnot. I see what you’re saying, but I believe honest attempts have already been made. Summarized, unbiased posts etc. What’s next?
  12. Copyright Strikes....

What Russ said, plus: If you think it’s just these providers’ policy, then please go register on fan forums of other major rock bands (Metallica, AC/DC, whatever), ask them about their experience with YT and other social media regarding their uploading of videos and the amount of them having been taken down, and then please report back so that we can compare our results. I wonder whether their videos get liquidated as ferociously and in a similarly absurd extent as in GNR’s case. Or, to spare us and yourself this shit, just use some logic. No, this is not just some ordinary "policy".
  13. Copyright Strikes....

Right? Exactly. Again, that would require their management to incorporate a guy who understands this approach and is able to manage this side of fandom/merch business. The trouble is, they’ve quite apparently chosen the old black-or-white approach, meaning "we’ve had some serious issues with 'external' people (managers), so fuck it, we’ll manage everything ourselves now", even though TB is not really competent enough to do this job, as we can see.
  14. Copyright Strikes....

Not too plausible indeed. For this amount of absurdity to make any sense, we'd have to be talking about some major, massive release containing heaps of pro-shot videos from the UYI era plus maybe the backstage documentation etc. I don't know, man. There might be some remastered release like in the case of AfD Locked n' Loaded, but I'm seriously not expecting anything of the said magnitude. And in such case, this whole thing is just pathetic. Edit: And yes, they've been taking down everything. Doesn't make sense.
  15. Walking Dead Season 10

I wouldn't be so quick about this judgment. Whatever this guy does, he does it for himself. If it entails teaming up with crazy Alpha for a while, why wouldn't he?
  16. Walking Dead Season 10

    Man this will be tough...
  17. Probably an even more helium variation of MacDaddy. Also, I've heard a rumour it was written by Nando and it means "Still Counting Our Money". It could also be written in some mysterious, lovecraftian language, with other words like KOHD, YCBM, Yog Soggoth, Nyarlathotep, Cthullhu, etc., who knows.
  18. Coma and Jungle Demos

We heard the finished product some 30 years ago. I think it's time.
  19. The thing is, they're not. Orientated towards casuals and other concert goers who demand SCOM and KOHD, they don't give a damn about Hard School, forums, or incorporating new tunes. This new album thing won't be smooth.
  20. Setlist for 2020

In my world, it all stands or falls on the vocals. Hence it should be dropped for now. Same goes for RQ. Hey, we'll see in 2020, maybe we'll live to witness more deep cuts and new songs... ha.
  21. Walking Dead Season 10

Ok let's not get carried away, forgetting about certain baseball bats, irons, blades, furnaces, and other things, ok?
  22. Setlist for 2020

What would that be then? I suppose NR? YCBM? To me, Better is a hot candidate.
  23. That's my theory too, and it's the only one that really makes sense. The change was drastic.
  24. Setlist for 2020

Why do you guys keep insisting on "Better"? Maybe in 2016, maybe. But now...
  25. Good decision. The guy would be joining a weird band with almost no gigs planned, an unpredictable frontman, one unfinished tour in 2002, and years of silence and re-recording various takes in studios; and he would be only known as a hired hand.
