  1. This goes to show how sad the music industry is. As for TS, she may be big today, but in 50 years, nobody except the fans (who’ll have been retired by then) will be able to tell a difference between a random song by Taylor Swift, Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, or Rihanna or whoever the hell. (Btw, I myself know 2 songs by LG and know how she looks like; never seen TS as far as I know; I could probably identify MC, as she was in Black Mirror iirc; not sure about Rihanna either.) They are managerial products – and I’m not saying they’re completely talentless – and don’t differ from the rest of the same pop material in any huge way.
In any case, music is at a different place now than it was 30+ years ago, which is why comparing the pop stars from then (setting the path for others, btw) with the today’s kids on the oversaturated market isn’t exactly gonna make much sense.

No one noticed they'd sent files that weren't big enough to publish on the Perhaps sleeve either, so the printers had to blow them up until they pixelated which is equally dumbfounding.

I genuinely don't understand how these things can happen.

The answer has two words. One of them is Team and the other one is a country.

    SCOM intro wasn’t a warm-up exercise

But other than it not being "a warm-up exercise", the rest is pretty much the same - i.e. Slash coming up with the riff while messing around, then Izzy adding chords and Axl following up on that. And if they weren't around, Slash wouldn't have presented the riff to the band. I wonder what was originaly said in that Slash's book (don't remember) and whether and why it differs from what he told Trunk way later.

It means you and like minded posters , who just take a massive dump on everything, it’s time to move onto foo fighters and dad rock.

or as GnR puts it. Fuck off and buy something from the “old age “ section.

    good riddance

Ha, that’s rich. A guy with 10 posts comes to a forum and lectures people who already had been fans when this guy didn’t even know what music is, and who have been on the forum for decades, that they’re old and should fuck off, because they didn’t like a crappy lazy AI video from a band with a 62-year old singer that doesn’t release shit, has tons of money and all the possibilities in the world, and became predictable as hell.
Maybe you should get some reality check; and maybe it’s you who should be doing the fucking off, probably back to some Ministry forum or wherever you came from, Mr. Señor Peligro, Bush’s alter ego.
    Think about it.

The video would be 100 times better without that God awful song.

I just can't listen to it.

It's that bad...makes me long for the days of "pussy full of maggots"

Serioisly, what the hell happened to this band?

It’s an Axl demo from a quarter of a century ago when he was apparently in a dark place, reminiscing (?) and all that. Listen to Monsters, though. That’s a great fucking song IMO.
Alas, we just can’t expect the man to suddenly break his habit of keeping the best stuff in the drawer.

    Garbage... next...

    (Monsters an SOG please)

My take is Monsters + Atlas would be better. Plus, if you want State of Grace, that would mean Axl actually having to go and record something new in the studio (unless there are versions with other vocals we haven't heard). Which he surely hasn't done for the demos they've released so far.
