  1. They could be something if they didn't try and act like Zeppelin wasn't an influence when half of their old live videos are Zeppelin songs.

I really don't get the love for State Of Grace, I can't hear Slash doing anything on that song. Not in a million years. I'm not a fan of Slash doing CD songs either, it's not up his alley at all. The one leak I feel like it could be a true GN'R song is Oklahoma. I'm not saying all leaks sucked, not at all. But I can't imagine Slash on any of it. So I really want to hear what the next album would bring, if there even will be an album.
  3. +1 But NuAxl had a run of pretty bad first few shows these past tours, so I'm not getting my hopes up. I wish I could say that I feel like Axl will be bringing his A game because 2020 will be the year of new music. But this is GN'R, optimism doesn't seem to belong.
  4. I'm affraid they'll show Jungle, SCOM, November Rain and Paradise City because of obvious reasons. Oh Axl
  5. You probably can't hear it because every fucking artist is using it. But you can hear it on CD during songs like Better, Street Of Dreams and Scraped (from the top of my head). There's some very unnatural vocal stuff on that album and on pretty much any album by any artist nowadays. Edit: What's worse is that they're using it live because not 1 singer / rapper has talent and can sound OK live.

This band has no insiders. Even worse, the people ín the band don't even know how or what.
  7. How are Uncharted 4 and the Lost Legacy? I just got myself a PS4 and I'm playing the first 3 remastered. Still one of my favorite series ever. The last 3 Tomb Raider games are pretty good too.
  8. That truck is 40 bucks. A new album would sell for less I hope
  9. Did anyone else's tickets came with a download link to the new album? Mine either. Okay, I didn't buy any. But this band is a running gag.
  10. What would be your ideal GNR tour?

I'd like Slash and Duff to join back in 2006-2010, when Axl was still around. Maybe throw in Izzy.

If they can make Ozzy sound like Ozzy, they can make Axl sound like Axl. And TIL was a beast live in 2010, his vocals on the record are underwhelming compared to that.

I don't know man. I used to agree with the point of Sorum being dull. But his drumming on UYI is still growing on me every time I listen to these albums. I'm not sure if all of UYI would've worked with Steven. If you compare Civil War to the other tracks, it doesn't sound as full as anything with Sorum on it. I could be completely off, but Sorum did a pretty good job there. Steven's unique groove will always be connected to and an integral part of AFD and their original sound. If anything, Brain redoing everything Josh Freese did for CD sounds dull and off. Especially after hearing all these songs with Freese drumming. But that could be because Brain was asked to play these songs like Freese did them, instead of bringing in his own ideas. I'm not sure if Frank's any good. There are times where he seems to be amazing, and there are some fills that add nothing whatsoever. And his timing can be all over the place.
  13. The "New Album" Thread

2020 will tell how much Duff and Slash have to say in all this. If a new album is just up to Axl, we're screwed. If it isn't, we're moderately screwed.
  14. What's your unpopular GN'R opinion?

    - Axl died somewhere in the 90's and they asked Vince Neil's body double to front "Guns N' Roses". - Axl look less bloated, cracking jokes And I never liked November Rain, Slash saved that song.
