  1. I meant before them.. Axl had three huge managers before team Brazil…things were considerably worse.
  2. It’s all just a bit sad really. She was part of the fabric for so long and seemed very close to lots of the GN’R camp. I don’t really understand the hatred for Fernando. I’m not sure any of our grievances as fans truly lie at his feet. He’s got a wife and kids hasn’t he? Just all very messy.. Am I reading the rolling stone article correctly that Kat’s claims came in response to an initial claim made by GN’R?
  3. I mean they are my favourite band..and monsters might just be one my favourite songs. It’s f’n brilliant.
  4. I find it odd the preferred option if you didn’t pick an option on whether to keep the order was to cancel the order. Given they can’t get this one out I don’t hold any hope in seeing Atlas Shrugged this year.
  5. Wow..he’s certainly found his way of doing that one. Excellent.
  6. What’s the latest thoughts on this? Are we getting it?
  7. James Hetfield was watching as well. I spent lots of show watching him air drum along.
  8. I’m sure he’s happy. Great gig being the drummer for one of the biggest touring rock acts. His wife looks nice. He’s winning at life if you ask me.
  9. Yes when you consider the releases so farAbsurd, Hardskool..Perhaps is a good gear shift. Hope next one comes sooner rather than later.
  10. I don’t think so. I think if anything the box sets and yet more pressings of appetite is for the label. The singles seem more personal to Axl..that seems very evident when he sings absurd live. Also if you look at the singles HS & Absurd on Spotify they are released c p Guns N’Roses, under exclusive licence to Geffen Records. Everything else including uyi box set is UMG recordings, inc. I’m not an expert but I think that indicates GN’R has more control over the singles.
  11. No it was definitely released the day it first got played. edit - I’m wrong 🤣
  12. Metallica released their first single from 72 seasons on a Monday…so I guess it doesn’t have to be a Friday.
  13. I thought they both were good. Hyde Park was an epic stage etc..think Axl was possibly a bit better vocally.
  14. It was better he did with them wasn’t it?
  15. Well if you listen to it it certainly didn’t sound like they were ordinarily on texting terms so I’d say likely it was business. Didn’t pitmen dig in for money owed? He’ll want credits no doubt.
  16. I’ve thought this for awhile & the fact Duff has made contact with Tommy Stinson seems to back it up. But only an educated guess.
  17. Just at the airport headed back to UK. Thought it was a great gig. I was front centre on the rail and it sounded very good from there. The mix was very strong. The small stage actually gave a great experience close up as the big three were all close to each other. They are using the in-house sound for the last shows so if the mix wasn’t great further back that could be why. Axl wasn’t as chatty as Hyde Park but seemed in a business like mood. Great setlist. He had a guest at the side of stage. one memorable moment was one of the little kids was watching from the side and waved at him and cheers looked so happy as he waved back.
  18. It’s a Thursday…. fingers crossed tonight is the night for perhaps
