messed up and confusing options. You need to buy the whole F1 ticket to see the Guns and it's not clear as well if we can go to Du Arena without going to the race or we can only go from the F1 race.
If that's the case it's disgusting, the F1 tickets are super expensive and I couldn't care less about racing :-/
I'll be in the area but I'll guess I'll skip the opportunity then.

So guys, what's the best way to see Guns there?
Not sure I understand the different options on https://www.yasmarinacircuit.com/en

The former will likely carry questions from the record company about market viability and I would expect some general unreasonableness from Axl regarding promotion and whatnot.
The latter would require the record company to bankroll it and Gn'R would be a risky business proposition.
But we're talking about a band that's been filling stadiums across the globe for the past 2.5 years. I'm sure the record company noticed. It was a different time and context, but they financed CD even tough all familiar faces and talents had jumped ship, I'm sure they'd consider investing in this lineup. And there's a lot the band can do by themselves, or that is allegedly already in the can.

I think it all comes down to if the record company wants to release new music and how much money they want to put forward to make it happen, be it CD2 promotion or production of a new album.
I’m not optimistic for either scenario.
With Slash and Duff back, they might see things differently. There's clearly an appeal and a platform to market this.

My uneducated guess is that "sound check" is literally just that. They're doing it to check the sound so they roll through some easy songs and maybe throw in something they want a little extra practice on.
Some of those are songs involving the whole band, that's also probably why (they all get to check on balance, feedback etc.) + I guess also check the rest of the show (screens, lightning)

Had a good time at the show, was better than i expected as well being my first show. Agree with some that some trimming could be used on the long solos and covers. But that is just some critique not so much complaints.
At first it felt sureal to see Axl, Slash etc stand there right in front of me.
I know what you mean, felt like that as well when I first saw all bands I love - to somehow realize that they are real persons, not fantasized characters only rendered through eh prism of screens etc.

Most of the people I see are on their way out, living on borrowed time, need to be checked on every 15 minutes. Seeing some of them with a lost scared look in their eyes, some with Alzheimer's disease and dementia, hitting their panic alarm every so often because they wake up not knowing where they are and not knowing anybody around them. It sucks and pulls at your heart strings seeing people who were once young, full of life, had a childhood, teenage years, and families of their own before they ended up here.
Thank you for what you do.

Did anyone else notice that McBob’s intro to the band didn’t mention Gothenburg? And when Axl first sang “You know where you are? You’re in the jungle” he didn’t add on the city name, just the usual “baby”? (Though the second time, he did say the city name.) Gave me the impression they’d forgotten the city name for a bit!!
McBob’s voice is recorded and part of the intro film, not live. No variation this leg.

You're right, it's a great song.

Sweet child, Jungle, paradise city, and shadow of your love are all on the the top rock chart. I know there’s not a lot of competition out there these days, but I still think it’s pretty damn cool to see them back on the charts.
Somehow it bugs me that there’s no escaping AFD for the band. I understand they will never top it but they need to work on something new.

Thank you so very much! I think they sound very good, even though the mix is crap. Hopefully we’ll be treated with a blu-ray for Christmas.

And you're lying to yourself if you actually believe that. The Chinese Democracy track list would have been B-sides on the UYI albums
I'd happily replace songs like Bad Apples, Shotgun Blues, You Ain't The First, My World, 14 Years with CD material such as TWAT, Sorry, IRS, Madagascar, the title track, Better and SOD.

I cannot believe that people in ths forum keep discussing about these 2 horrible songs. Move on.
Tastes. Personally, I love OMG - love it more than some of the songs on AFD, UYI and CD.

No thank you, the Ashba remix sounds emo, it ruined an amazing song.

And then there is the majority of people attending the shows who have a great time and would find this discussion absurd.
This.
At GMM everyone around me thought Axl was amazing. Myself included. How he sings some parts is otherworldly.

just to correct things a bit, SOYL is originally a Hollywood Rose song, only later re-recorded by GNR. yes, this particular version was indeed recorded by the AFD lineup.
Except that Steven says it's not him on the track, and argues about lead guitar parts as well.

Great show. Great company. Some assholes in the crowd as usual. But i had the feeling the asshole-meter was higher than at other shows.
I literally had to ask a drunk German dude to stop screaming idiotic things throughout the first hour of the show. He was somewhat surprised I wasn't there to enjoy his poor humor and one-liners.

Would you agree to extend NILT to a one more leg to make it the highest grossing tour of all time or at this point "enough is enough"?

As much as NITL is out of this world, with Slash and Duff back, huge crowds, tops shows in 2016 (hello Houston), I’d prefer for them to record something new / release more CD-era material and then tour behind it.
