This is 3 miles north of Axl's house....
-
I think they should do a massive show after Hawaii in the rose bowl or coliseum as a 100% fire benefit show. They could raise a few million.

If anyone has any questions feel free to ask and I can do my best to answer them. I’m around all this and have been getting various updates from people in the areas.
I think i saw the road up to Axl's house on PRIVATE Canyon was closed. I have to imagine that area got it bad. Can you confirm, are you close to there?

Aren't these fires caused by Santa Ana winds? What exactly is there to be done (on a practical level) to prevent these fires from happening? Or at least limit them?

I think this is mostly material people have all seen before, i never saw the picture of him and his mom at the bottom. Its full of a lot of inaccurate info as far as i can tell, but still some interesting stuff

Apart from that I want to see the January 1992 show where they played Dust N Bones the one and only time after Izzy left, just because that's never happened before or since, and was the last time that song was ever played live. The audio is so bad you can't even tell who's singing, Duff or Gilby
Thats Memphis, Jan 1992
I would think the LA Forum show in 1991 is the one to have

Here's a really good article, from Feb 2000, that I'm sure many have read, but again, gives you the point of reference for what was happening then

day 2 and no linksworking, I'll keep digging
Just use google
Its there on youtube
Just watched the entire show
Two things, i'm blown away with how good they all sound there, especially Axl, The Blues/Street of Dreams is the highlight of all for me. Secondly, i'm fucking pissed they let this opportunity basically get lost to history, its incredible and deserved the vest best treatment.

This show is just excellent, has to be seen in perspective too, given what had happened since people last saw/heard from Axl.
Magnificent

The whole show seems to have disappeared from YouTube. Are people finding it or is it gone with the wind?
-
Have you guys listened to this version on Soundcloud?? I hadn't heard it before today, but it is an amazing version of this sound. Axl never sounded better, the band is tight as can be.
Any idea which show this is from?

The blues/street of dreams is absolutely Fucking magical to hear.
This Axl Rose is what we all long to hear

We got the name of the guy who filmed perfect crime documentary. Going to try and get him on the podcast.
That would be awesome!
He saw and knows so much!

Good interview, couldn't see Andy at all, just heard him just fine.
The most fascinating thing was talk of the perfect crime and how there's hundreds of hours of footage out there.
I'd take that over a new album any day of the week
-
Why don't they just put out a motherfucking album of legit music
"we're not working on all this to keep it buried"....think i heard that somewhere like 15+ years ago

If you want to see what that area looked like prior to the fire, watch this.
He passes Axl's house right about 7:05 in the video, on the left
