  1. Is that how you call the president of the US? Shame on you!
  2. To be honest, even if you're a fan, it doesn't give you the right to spread leaks, does it? I don't think if I read an article about another band's fan like that, I wouldn't feel very sorry for him But of course we only know Rick's story about the suing and stuff, as if he's the only one they (in this case, Universal) are after.
  3. Right. I think you all have it correct. The quote mentions Zutaut as the seller and the rest of the article is basically Rick going to TMZ with his story.
  4. But the band's rep puts it like this: I would assume the label has delved into this matter and found the 'record executive' was the one auctioning off the material. The 'Tom forgetting to pay for his locker' seemed very fishy at the time and of course he wouldn't publically admit to selling it off. I think the original buyer(s) bought more of Tom's stuff. So who knows what he has been selling to this guy in the past?
  5. So Rick getting 15k was the truth and Zutaut auctioned the stuff off himself? How come they quote a rep in the beginning and at the end they say reps don't wish to comment?
  6. US Politics/Elections Thread

That's odd. Granted, it's been over 20 years since I've watched it, but I remember finding it depressing. The tragic part of it must've made a bigger impression on me than the comedy. Bit like The Full Monty. Funny, yes, but ultimately sad.
  7. Thank you @Arnuld for trying to insert some positivity! I quite liked a lot of the leaks, those were very exciting weeks. And a tour is always Fun when you can go to a show. I always love the anticipation, even if I can't go, and to be honest, there's been surprises in each new leg. I'm not expecting any more than that. Axl had his hair cut, that was quite a shock too. Looking forward to 2020.
  8. What's your unpopular GN'R opinion?

You can turn that around. When Slash wasn't in the band, everyone was saying GNR couldn't exist without him and Axl was an asshole for taking the name, yada yada. Now Slash is back and now they can hate on Axl (and Slash and Duff) because Izzy isn't there. People are never satisfied. I see no Izzy hate. I mainly see an utter despite of Axl, and they will always find a stone to throw. Out of everyone, Axl certainly gets thrown the most shit at him. Sometimes justified, sometimes because people make up scenarios in their heads just to spin a story to fit into what they believe. Even if I'm an Axl fan, I love all of them, always have. I don't feel like I have to pick sides. I accept that the lineup and everything regarding GNR is out of my control; so no use getting worked up about any of it. It's kind of a take it or leave it situation. I enjoy the shows (GNR's, Slash's, Duff's) and the music.
  9. Fans who think the announcement will come from Richard on Facebook deserve to be trolled. Richard is saying something about the only thing he has a say in. His own releases.
  10. Funny things you believed as a child.

I was thinking about this, but I couldn't come up with any silly thing I believed in. But now you mention that, I did believe that too. Funny I wouldn't call that funny, but visionary! That's exactly how it is for kids nowadays.
  11. I'm assuming just shite talk. Yes, on top of everything else we have to deal with people getting a kick out of trolling around.
  12. It's not just GNR though. I don't think a lot of the big acts visit countries like Turkey and Greece often, because there isn't a market for those big acts, I would assume? I see Pearl Jam has only been to Istanbul once, in 1996, and U2 has been there once too, in 2006. So it's more a question of there not being a market for those acts than just not being able to charge a lot of money for tickets.
  13. No, Fernando didn't want to confirm nor deny it was him. (As far as I know.)
  14. Do you think there's more money in some South-American countries than in Greece and Turkey? They're not third world countries.

Because you're great at it. I was reading up on the drama that goes with it a few days ago, between Van Gerwen and the other one, Klaasen or something? About the latter sending a dick pic to Van Gerwen's 14 year old sister in law and him hating his former best friend for that. Seems entertaining. And I don't mind watching darts myself.
  16. Greta Thunberg's Groupie

Just read her reply. She wasn't moaning and complaining. And no, that's no way to treat a client. Never. It's embarrassing pr. Reminds me of TB. But I don't really care that much. I'm still amazed (in a negative way) by how much shit this girl has to take. Why is it so impossible she speaks the truth? Her train was canceled, two trains were overcrowded, so she sat on the floor and then after Göttingen she got a seat. Anyway, I'm done discussing this. I see it this way, others see it another way And like I said, to me this is a non-issue.
  17. Greta Thunberg's Groupie

Even canceled trains have first class. I don't really care if she travels first class. Fact is that it is beyond petty from the railway company to react that way. I could imagine Belgian railways reacting just the same. Instead of staying polite and apologizing for canceling trains, they come with snide remarks. Very unprofessional, and at first glance, most people on Twitter seem to agree. That's not how you treat a client.
  18. Greta Thunberg's Groupie

I have no trouble believing trains taken out of traffic and overcrowded trains. I think everyone who has traveled by train (in Europe at least) has experienced similar situations.
  19. Greta Thunberg's Groupie

A bit petty from the German railways.

I remember as a kid visiting An old aunt or something and getting a chocolate. I will never forget the awful taste expecting nice milk chocolate and getting mint. After Eight 🤢
  21. Sorry, I suck at geography. To me, the north= Friesland
  22. @username is from Friesland. Friesland is lovely, it's very pretty with lots of picturesque villages and towns and lots of water.
  23. Brazilian Bud commercial in 2014 or sth like that.
