  1. Haven't seen this posted yet; quite an interesting listen!
  2. That solo has just taken the entire shine off this performance for me. Todd sounds great on vocals, but the difference between the original solo and this, err, noodling monstrosity of a solo is the epitome of how much Slash's playing has actually gotten worse as he's aged. He's not even hitting the changes in the melody, which the original does so well, it's just flat out noodling with no connection to the underlying song.
  3. Came across this earlier today; some cool signed gear available as well as one of Slash's first Les Pauls if you're so inclined! https://www.gottahaverockandroll.com/catalog.aspx?auctionid=78&fbclid=IwAR1PLxUeZ_Rs1NNzDckd5k6DktCmFyt0daXEB8g7OV7EIOZ4uoHN6cL92SI_aem_AalLJWJuFmMi8ZvnBOqZjjvOsnKhCw1WxCqC7X_iUYTJhEscQl3q0hKEbneFehfql4td58cSWJ_LcvCD87Cf4ViU
  4. Didn't see this posted anywhere else, although it is quite old, but here is an interesting set of comments from the band (minus Axl of course) regarding the use of in-ear monitors. The topic of whether or not Slash enjoyed using IEM came up in the Paris gig thread a couple of days ago regarding his current playing style/ability. Although it's basically a sell for JH, seems like they all love the experience of IEM, which was a first for Slash and Duff.
  5. Wow, this has to be one of the best things I've heard Slash play lately, definitely over the last two years! Structure, homage to the original tune and no incessant noodling! 👏
  6. Pretty Tied Up... some great audience interaction from Axl... a golf clap! 👏 However, what's now becoming the norm; Slash nonchalantly going through the motions and fucking up another well crafted solo that suited the song by trying to shove in as many twiddly notes as possible.
