Not a huge fan, I guess the demos with Buckethead and Finck would sound better. I have the feeling , that they removed some layers of the song and that Duff and Slash worked on the "simple version" pf the songs.

A CD II release would have been amazing after the CD tour 2009-2011. End of 2011 , after Rock in Rio where they would have played Hard School, they release a live DVD for Xmas . Fans =Happy 2012 - CD II = Fans super happy 2013 -2015 CDII Tour .

Just received a email 1 minutes ago saying that the LP is now available from Guns N Roses in Europe. When I opened the link, shipping says Dec 31th.

The General is basically the last CD era song that has not leaked..that's why we are all here. But , like all the others CD leaks or releases, it has been delayed.. canceled etc... that's part of it. Chinese democracy has generated more topics amd comments on forums than any others albums in music history.

How funny it is , they used to call the Chinese era band a cover band, and now Slash and Duff are doing covers of Chinese era Band songs.
