  1. By the way, how offensive is coke? This stuff was inmvented by American temperence zealots to stop us all drinking, proper drinks.

    YA SIT AT THE FRONT

    AND THEN AT THE END

AND THERE'S THIS LITTLE BIT IN BETWEEEEEEEEEEEEEEN

    IT WON'T TAKE LONG

    TO LEARN A SONG

THERE'S NOTHING QUITE LIKE A MCDONALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLDS

    And Len was sold

With a free a plastic toy and the prospect of manboobs. I thought you were a paki? You have betrayed your culinary heritage; Pakistani food is divine (so I have been told - my mam once attended a pakistani wedding). Besides, you eat the food that the enemy of ISIS eats haha

Uh, where does this presumption that i should support ISIS come from?

  2. Of course Jesus existed, and maybe he wasn't the result of a virgin birth, but a Roman solider who had his way with Mary and that might have traumatised her or, she and Joesph might have lied, for fear of the Romans. That's why he looked kind of white/European.

    I think.

    .

If you can explain how you came up with that without the reply being a load of bollocks i'll find you where you are today and give you a million quid

  3. Can i ask a broad question of the Americans here, as a matter of curiosity? Do you feel a greater attachment to America or to whatever your heritage might be, if it's like Irish or Scotish or a mix of stuff or...how does it work for you?

    I'm American, first and foremost.

That being said, I'm also first generation American, with Italian heritage.... at least half my family still resides in Italy....so naturally, I also feel attached to Italy, the culture, etc.

    Why America over Italy?

  4. Human Being

    That songs sacreligious!

    On topic:

    Since I Don't Have You

    Jumpin Jack Flash

    Whole Lotta Rosie

    Thats about it.

as are Since I Don't Have You and Jumpin Jack Flash!

True but they're pretty straightforward and lend themselves to Gunses abilities whereas the whole quality of Human Being by The Dolls was it had their sort of runaway freight trains, barely-held-together-by-a-string-but-just-making-it kinda quality to it that is absolutely deadened by the polish and sheen of TSI. I reckon anyway :)

  5. The death of Johnny Thunders, they found him curled up like a pretzel under a table with a heroin needle in the toilet and his room ransacked, having met two unknown men earlier that night and been chilling out with them. Receptionist recalled a ruckus from the room at night but didn't follow it up, next morning the true king of rock n roll was found dead upstairs...turns out Johnny had undiagnosed lymphoma, which he knew he had, or rather had something but just didn't wanna go to doctors. Sad.

There are three albums that define 70s rock n roll, one is Raw Power, the other is The Dolls debut and the third is L.AM.F by The Heartbreakers...no others touched them throughout that decade.

  6. You should get into music and that Broski, electronic or whatever, get yourself a whole kit set up and just be like an sound-alchemist, don't ask me why i get that impression off of you but i feel like you'd work well with that.

Ever listen to a band called Can?

  7. I like a lot of the old shows from that era, i got into The Rockford Files from this old jeweller guy i knew who came to be to sort him out a copy cuz i was well into films and telly and DVDs and all that at one point and in getting it for him i watched it and yeah it is pretty good, always liked James Garner, he fell off the perch recently, did he not?

But yeah, Department S, The Persuaders, The Avengers, all those shows, they were good, i liked em. The guy that played Face in The A Team made an interesting distinction a whiles back and I agree with him that there are no male orientated TV shows anymore, they're kinda all for women when back in the day there was a good balance there that isn't anymore. A pretty solid actor to be doing TV work too, kinda like Peter Falk who was a fucking genius actor.

  8. Apocalypse Now Redux...for the 40 thousandth time. Everytime i lose faith in cinema as a tawdry penny peep-show i see a movie like this and I'm reminded of the wonderous possibilities of motion pictures and their ability, at their best, to be transcendent, to provoke and to be profoundly beautiful. There is so much too this movie i could go on about it for fucking days. Just love it. Love it love it love it.
