  1. General Chat / Random Musings

That's what I'm saying. I find it really hilarious when people think it's a big secret that McDonald's is unhealthy
  2. General Chat / Random Musings

I was field testing some originals and then did a cover of 'Lonely Day' by System of a Down
  3. General Chat / Random Musings

I'm not a regular McDonald's customer anymore, but it's hilarious to me when people try to expose them for serving unhealthy food like it was some big conspiracy That's sort of what happened actually. I was ready to get up there, play a few songs, and be on my way. The person running it kept pushing me back on the schedule so that these 60 year-old dudes could jam on songs they didn't even write. I'm all for jamming and am respectful to the performer(s) on stage, but it gets really boring after the 3rd band plays a I-IV-V progression with intro-verse-chorus-solo-verse-solo-chorus-outro solo.
  4. General Chat / Random Musings

Anyone else have a disdain for those bar bands that play 12 minute guitar solos? I went to an open mic last week and every other band was playing blues songs with an extended solo in each one. It's cool every once in a while but not so much after the 3rd song
  5. At work, so I'm not able to listen. What did he say at the end?
  6. I don't know man, Slash still pulls off the rocker style pretty well. Just wish he'd not wear the hat sometimes
  7. He probably still gives a shit. With how much the internet has evolved though, it's almost impossible to stop people from trading/leaking unreleased material and it's pointless to try. It's like whack-a-mole, you shut down one source leaking the material and another one pops up.
  8. If it's a completely different set, I'll make the drive. If not, I have Ghost and Badflower lined up for next month anyways, so I have that to be excited about
  9. Fellas, I gotta say, I sort of fucking hate this band
  10. This new mix of Silkworms would have been really good as an instrumental on a film soundtrack.
  11. I highly doubt the band is leaking this as a PR stunt. Leaking it to drum up publicity for a single is counter- productive. What's the point in an official release if everyone's downloading it?
  12. They both suck equally but at least My World is only a minute and a half
  13. I was explaining to my girlfriend why Axl hasn't officially released any music in 11 years and all she had to say was "What the fuck is his problem?"
  14. I think we got the album we did because of the leaks in '06. If you think about it, most of the songs on CD leaked and all of those leaked tracks ended up on the album. Then the ones that didn't leak (Sorry, TIL, etc.) filled out the rest. I feel like if the tracks in '06 never leaked, we'd have gotten a better album.
  15. So with the most recent leaks, my version of CD has been updated 1. Chinese Democracy 2. Atlas Shrugged 3. Better (2006 Demo) 4. Catcher in the Rye (1999 Demo) 5. Hard School 6. I.R.S. (1999 Demo) 7. T.W.A.T 8. Riad (Josh Freese Version) 9. Madagascar (2001 RTB Demo) 10. Prostitute 11. Street of Dreams
  16. 50 FUCKING DOLLARS?! Jfc they're just trolling us now
  17. Bucket's solo alone makes the final version of TWAT superior to the demos
  18. This reminds me of Godzilla by Blue Oyster Cult
  19. I would be shocked and appalled if Axl didn't know about all of this material leaking.
  20. Same here. Not a big fan of Pitman but that little synth part before the verse was cool. The bass-only verse fit really well with that late 90s/early 2000s rock sound as well.
  21. The title track for CD was ready in '99. They really shouldn't have added all that extra stuff
