  1. I can't wait for this board to collectively lose its shit when a song isn't released
  2. Yep. And then GN'R Central stole it from them probably
  3. I'm curious to hear those '96 tapes. I remember Axl saying that Slash had written some really mean riffs.
  4. Pretty sure that Caram worked on CD, so hopefully this is a breeze if it's true
  5. Why The Ashba Hate?

As someone else said, he tried too hard. People liked BBF and Tommy because they were chill and didn't try to be cool. I personally never minded Ashba though. In the end, he was a fan who was trying to do justice to the music.
  6. "This guy has 'admins' next to his name and has posted multiple times about suspending anyone who asks for a link. Let's ask him for a link!"
  7. They should have replaced Scraped and Riad with Hard School and OMG
  8. Y'know, I used to argue that "recording is a complex thing for a band of GN'Rs size, give them time." but it's pretty damn clear that we're in the 2009-14 timeline right now and Axl is just refusing to release anything.
  9. New Tool record help push GNR in any way?

In an ideal world, Axl would take notice of the hype around Tool's new release and realized that the hype for a new GN'R record would be twice as big and maybe be inspired to release some material. Realistically though, I don't think he gives much of a shit about it.
  10. GN'Rs version of SFTD isn't as shit as everyone says it is.
  11. General Chat / Random Musings

It is. Just being weird and throwing that thought out there
  12. General Chat / Random Musings

I haven't had a good stomach flu in a while
  13. I'm convinced the tour would've grossed twice as much if it had happened in '06. They could have had a late-career revival like Aerosmith too and gotten a few more albums out.
  14. 2006 GN'R was on a different level. I'd rank it above the NITL lineup tbh
  15. 'Living The Dream' World Tour 2018/2019

You never really appreciate the legends until you see the new bands. New bands are great, don't get me wrong, but when I've seen someone like Axl or M. Shadows perform, it almost feels like a downgrade when I see a newer act who haven't hit their stride yet. And my girlfriend is getting into rock now, so I have to buy 2 tickets for most shows
  16. 'Living The Dream' World Tour 2018/2019

Going the Council Bluffs show on Friday and it says that the show starts at 8. What time would the gates typically open for a show at that time?
  17. That's exactly what I'm saying... We're all just trying to get through the day but that doesn't mean it's not monotonous at times.
  18. Agreed. If an average guy like me gets tired of listening to the same 20 songs for a month, I can't imagine the boredom that comes with playing the same setlist for 3 years straight. Also, you could tell Axl was trying when they introduced new songs on this tour.
  19. Oh boy! Another thread derailed into an Izzy/Steven discussion!
  20. Nope. As of now, we have the following -Atlas Shrugged (1:16 second clip, 3 second clip) -SCOM Rehearsal from 2017 -Hard School (formerly Checkmate, 0:23 clip)
  21. Yeah but a lot of us are curious. Plus it's always interesting to hear a different take on stuff.
