Every. Single. Time. I mention that they didn't do the entire end to November Rain, every one looks at me like I'm crazy!

I remember it super clearly. When they got to the part where Axl would play the piano part that starts the last part of the song, he just got up and walked off stage. I remember Bumble looking super confused and he eventually just started his solo spot when he realized they just weren't going to do the end of NR.

This probably sounds so dumb but I'm so glad to finally have someone else remember this!

Was it a technical thing or was Axl just being Axl?

Im not sure I follow. You reckon that opposing racism is a 'leftist' thing?

Not at all. The 'oh boy' part was my way of saying that the media is going to take that comment and run with it. As for the rest of my post, I was just sharing my opinion on the guy. Sorry for any confusion

  3. I highly encourage everyone to watch 'Penn and Teller: Bullshit!'. They take stuff like social/cultural norms, political issues, religion, widely held beliefs/myths in the US and debunk them using science backed research. Usually the person on the non-scientific side is bat-shit crazy. Like I said though, they're not pushing an agenda or anything, they're just using science and research to call these things out. It's pretty entertaining and you have to be pretty high strung to be triggered by it.

Oh boy. I supported Bernie back in 2016 but this time around I really don't like the guy. Despite his ideas being incredibly difficult to implement, the way he presents them is even worse. I can see him getting the nomination but I think he's too far left to get the presidency.

TWAT has a great solo, but I can't dig the clean vocals and what they did with the intro. Same goes with Catcher, I loved the raspy live versions in 2009 and 2010 but can't get myself to listen to the album version.

If you look around, I think Evader (was it Evader?) made an edit of Catcher with more rasp.

I'm so thankful I have a whole other concert to go to tonight. The band I'm going to see has released 4 albums since I found out about them 6 years ago. They actually appreciate their fans too.

My plan for the night is to pick up my bestie, go see a great band, more than likely hang out with them for a bit after, then come home and spin records from artists who actually release music.

The farce GNR is going to put on tonight is thankfully very far from my mind.

I gotta say, in my town of 60,000 people, I'm loving the local music scene more and more. A lot of the bands that play at my favorite bar show nothing but appreciation for their fan bases. Seeing that kind of stuff that has drastically lowered my interest in GN'R over the last year.

That said, the show I'm hitting isn't until tomorrow night so I'll have to settle for Guns tonight haha
