HELL NO!!!,.
HeS not right at all. This is not even close of a nostalgia crap. This is an EXTRA SUCCESFULL world tour of a band that is again working their way to the top ( and getting there). Getting confy with each other, screening peoples response to all of this, ..JUST WARMING things up .
A new gnr album is NECESARY today. The fans are crazy for it, the media is expecting for it , politic and social enviroment globaly begs for it, and, most important : THE CLOWNY SAD BS STUPID SELL OUT music bussines NEED THIS as soon as posible. Music industry lost credibility, level, reality, trust, and more.. Today music bussines is less than a circus. And theres nobody better for saving the ship than GUNS N' ROSES.
So yes. We need it, the world need it, the media needs it, the music bizz needs it.. And the good thing is that, at some point.. WE'RE GONNA GET IT
PEACE
Nobody needs a new album from GN'R more than anyone needed the new Metallica album. Yes, it would be amazing to get a new album, but like it or not, the world won't erupt from a new Guns album. The forum might crash, but the world won't lose their shit over a new album. It'll be in the media for a few weeks and then we'll stop hearing about it because that's how the media works.

Get real.
The general public doesn't give a rat's ass about Axl Rose. They just remember him the volatile singer of a band back in the late 80s - early 90s.
I guess. He only sold out most of the stadiums on one leg of the tour and raked in $117M from that leg alone.
No big deal.

In the nosebleeds but it's cool since it ain't my first show.
See you fuckers in Minnesota

"Where Were We?" Tour
You know, like picking up where they left off in 1993

Nothing More would be a cool opener. Saw them open for Disturbed and they killed it

Hopefully you're not using internet comment sections as your source because the internet hates everything
Fair enough Mostly internet, but I've also had a few friends earlier this summer assume negative shit about him when there weren't any major issues during the initial run in April.

It still seems that Axl is disliked by a lot of the general public despite being on time for damn near all of the shows and singing his ass off with AC/DC. I know the guy was kind of a dick at times in the last 15 years, but why all the hate after he's turned himself around this year?

Minnesota will sell out same day or goes on sale. Metallica sold the same venue out in an hour.
St. Louis, not sure as its a smaller market, but lots of people are going to travel to that one.
I'll probably opt for St. Louis then. It's a longer drive but worth it either way

Would this one or Minnesota sell out before I get paid later this week?

Just out of curiosity what would be considered good seats for Gn'R? Looking for advice so I know what to look for come ticket time.
@RussTCB can probably help you better than I can. I've only been to one show so far.

Fuck it. I think I'll scope out tickets tonight after work and probably bite the bullet on 2. I told myself I was done with Nightrain presales. My subscription is still active, so if I can get what I want, fuck it.
I wish they would wait another couple months for this sale...
Me too. If I have any money after my car payment/CC bill, I might get a cheap ticket for St. Louis to ensure I get to see them at least once this summer. I'll go on StubHub for both if I have to. Just gotta be careful this time. I overpaid with Chicago 1 for decent seats.

What's the demand looking like for the US dates? I want to snag tickets for the STL and MM but don't have the money now. Would I be ok holding out till January?

I'm about 95% sure I'll be there! I would like to wait a while to buy tickets- the credit card is a little swollen with Xmas right now! I don't think it's gonna sell out right away, judging from last summer in the US. But I'm really excited for this one!
Same here. I'm waiting until January to accumulate some money for the MN show. I'll probably get a seat in the nosebleeds in St. Louis. Hopefully neither one sells out before then

Hopefully they'll play a full show this time

I'm going to the one in Minneapolis with my friend. I might cave and get just myself a ticket for this show too

Minneapolis
On a side note, I'm a bit short on cash right now. Should I have too much trouble getting tickets around January?

Just to udpate everyone......here is @Spirit list. i have just a couple of notes on this for the North American dates. I've been more on top of the NA stuff than the European stuff, so if anyone wants to add comments on the EU side, go ahead.
First off, I still believe the last date at the Gorge Amphitheatre is not going to happen....I've seen several confirmations on Vancouver, so I'd say "strong rumor" for them. Miami as well, strong rumor with multiple billboard sightings in the area. San Antonio or Monterrey, Mexico is getting a show, can't figure out which, though I'm leaning towards San Antonio. Finally, not sold on Baton Rouge yet either.

Fuck yes! Went to a Vegas and Chicago show since they skipped the Twin Cities. Will be able to enjoy the show with more friends now, plus I'll be willing to not be as particular on the seat location after the well worth it but $250 x 6 kick in the ass this summer.
I hear ya on the money part. I went to Chicago 1 and was in decent seats. If I go to Minneapolis, I could be in the nosebleeds for all I care.
anyone surprised how big gnr is again but having released so little music

I'm kind of surprised. I expected people to stop caring after the North American leg of the tour, but they just keep gaining momentum. It's fucking fantastic
