It wouldn't surprise me in the slightest if they used parts from other songs but the version of Soul Monster we have sounds pretty complete and Axl already put vocals on it back in '04, so I doubt they would have made any drastic changes to the song

I do have to say that I'm a little disappointed that they didn't include any demo versions seeing as how we've had the Record Plant demos for so long. It would have been cool to hear a more evolved, unfinished version of NR

I noticed Axl wasn't singing Absurd in that booming voice that he did on the US/Europe runs. Has he lost a little power in his low voice or was he just pacing himself? 

Also, that getup with the blazer and '01 glasses looked cool as fuck

Most definitely. I caught 3 shows on the '17 US run and they were all phenomenal. I guess all I was trying to say is that considering Axl's current vocal state and his history with RIR, it could be worse than RIR 2017. Or it could be average, who knows.

Honestly same. I'm in the process of getting my life together and I don't have the emotional energy to be upset about the absence of new material. There's so many other artists releasing amazing music. 

Right as I was starting high school back in 2012, my dad bought me an iPod touch and AFD somehow ended up on there. WTTJ came up in the shuffle and 14 y/o me was blown away. It just kind of snowballed from there and about a year later I knew every word to every song
