  1. I preferred the 1991 leg - it was cool being able to hear the Illusion songs before they came out.
  2. Loudest show you've been to

I was at that show as well - U2 at MSG in 2015 was the loudest for me -

My fiancé and I thought about trying to head around the back of the Apollo to catch the guys when they came out, but the ebayers/dealers in NYC are just brutal, take no prisoners. Not worth it. The night was pretty great even without that.

Is this you Tom? I'm glad you were able to get such a good seat - it definitely was a blast. We were up in the lowest box seats right above Slash's side of the stage. Definitely an experience we won't forget. When we first got there there was a woman's purse under Laura's seat, eventually she came back to retrieve it before the show started, and it turns out it was Frank Ferrer's daughter. Later on towards the very end of the show Duff threw a pick up into our box, no one could find it and it ended up being buried under Laura's t-shirts from the show. She's a hardcore Duff fan so she was pretty stoked. Neither of us suffered from heat stroke amazingly and made it out of Harlem in one piece, so it was all good. Now we need to work on saving some $$ for the arena dates. FYI we're from Beacon Falls, CT - about 20 miles north of Bridgeport. Very quiet and peaceful.

My fiancé Laura and I were the ones who showed up at 5 am to try to get into the show. We had no idea that there were going to be any seats available but if there were we wanted to make damn sure we were first in line. We didn't know until about 10 pm that we were getting in for sure. I will say that Harlem in the morning was very interesting, and it was super hot all day out there. Our seats were in the lower box on Slash's side, and it was fantastic. Axl looked up at us a couple of times and smiled, probably wanting to see who these kooks were that stood outside for 17 hours to see the show. We also got one of Duff's picks which got lodged under Laura's t-shirts. A great and memorable night for us. I didn't see him, but Gary DelAbate was behind me in the beer line. I don't think Howard was there.
