So, how long before we get the April Fools' album jokes? I know they started early at the end of last year with that whole Atlas Shrugged album and ridiculous artwork, but they should be ramping up again by now.

I don't think you understand how many variants of the same album Swift's fans will purchase. They're rabid. And they'll happily shell out the money for these variants. It's not even a question. I mean, sure, they don't have to get in their car and drive to the record store, but they're spending the money. Believe it.

Of course it’s whining. Meanwhile, GNR could post a video on social media of a dog shitting out a log that somehow looks like the AFD album cover, throw The General on over it, and you’d get the same posters saying the same thing: “At least we’re getting something! Better than nothing! Whiners!”

The old videos are cringy as hell. But the songs behind them are behemoths to this day. They always will be. These songs will have lacklustre videos, which fit the effort behind the songs. I’ll gladly take overblown, jumping marine wildlife, over-the-top any day of the week. We all know we’re not getting anything close to that effort with whatever this will be.

GNR thinks it’s outdated to release albums, but half-assed music videos? We’re back in the 90s, baby!
