  1. COVID-19: Quarantine Self Help Group

Boris Johnson to address the nation in just over 20 minutes
  2. COVID-19 Outbreak

Just over an hour ago McDonalds in the U.K. announced it was closing all its store from 7pm tomorrow evening. I think the UK is going to be locked down by Tuesday. Beaches & parks have been very busy with a lot of people not heeding the advice of P.M. Boris Johnson of keeping a safe distance from each other. I think McDonalds announcing the stores closing is a massive hint that lockdown is imminent.
  3. Why would he be ? The gigs he played with D.C. were just a favour to help out the band.
  4. RIP Neil Peart

I saw Rush 5 times at Newcastle City Hall. 2112 Tour All The Worlds A Stage Tour A Farewell To Kings Tour Hemispheres Tour Permanent Waves Tour They were absolute class & Neil was more than a drummer sad news.
  5. 40th anniversary of BIB. A new album with Mals guitar tracks. The return of Brian & Phil. Then a final tour in 2020 ( Not many dates probably some big festivals) This would be a fitting end to AC/DC.
  6. Absolutely cracking film. The Orphans, The Lizzies The Baseball Furies & The Rogues with Luther "Warriors come out to plaaay" & this as the end credits roll.
  7. Terminator - Dark Fate

Best out the series has been Terminator 2 the T-1000 (Robert Patrick) was excellent.
  8. Steelheart

Well I missed these first time round but omg what a voice. I didnt realise until a couple of years ago the lead singer Miljenko Matijevic was the guy who sang Mark Whalberg vocal parts in the 2001 movie Rock Star. Anyway here are a couple of videos what do you think the guys vocal range was amazing.
  9. They influenced Kiss, Motley Crue, Guns 'n'Roses, Def Leppard in fact they influenced just about everyone in Rock music. Yet sadly they never achieved worldwide recognition. Their records still sound great today 40+ years since their last hit single. They had 13 top 30 hits in the 70's. When asked to describe themselves they said "We were just 4 guys who wore make up" They were The Sweet. I was lucky enough to see them as a 3 piece in 1981 all 3 originals Steve, Mick & Andy by this time Brian had left the band. Steve sang most of the lead vocals that night they were brilliant & left everyone in no doubt they were definitely a rock band. Sadly we'vs lost Brian & Mick, but both Steve & Andy still tour with their own versions of The Sweet now Andy in Europe & the UK. Steve & his band tend to tour America & Canada. There'll never be another influential band like them & as they said "We were 4 guys who wore make up" who just happened to make brilliant rock songs. I'd love to here your thoughts on The Sweet
