Whatever. I’m glad you already admitted being wrong and that you readily admit your knowledge of guns is nowhere near mine. (Not that I’m an expert by any means. I just know more about them than you do, apparently)
  2. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

Who said an M4 was difficult to wield? I said a semi auto rifle (never specified) could be harder to control than pistols and a shotgun. Pistols are as easy as it gets to control. And I would say a semi auto rifle would be about the same to control as a shotgun. But I guess it all depends on type. Like I said, it would be conjecture at this point.
  3. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

Which part? The part that says it’s semi-auto? Gimmick. Or the part they say they don’t sell them due to restrictions? Double whammy! Oops.
  4. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

Did you read what you just posted? Thanks for proving my point and showing you were wrong.
  5. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

Thank you. And I’m ok with disagreeing with that point, I admitted it was conjecture.
  6. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

This is what you resort to when you are completely lost in an argument. Google differences between AR 15 and M4. Then come back and eat crow.
  7. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

It's not an M4. Those are AR-15's that the guy is calling an M4. Man, you are thick.
  8. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

Wrong. “Canada has long prohibited the possession of automatic guns. Some semi-automatic firearms are non-restricted, meaning they can be used for hunting and only require purchasers to obtain a basic possession and acquisition licence.
  9. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

Don’t tell @soon that. He thinks he’s buying a real M4 for his future rebellion.
  10. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

I guarantee with 100% certainty he is not selling M4’s But you go ahead and buy them from that guy and go tell your friends that you own an M4. Then go start a rebellion with your M4’s (AR-15) and see how they do against a real military grade M4. When I post an article proving you wrong, just be a man and admit you are wrong.
  11. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

I saw your link. Right after listing it as an M4 he says semi auto AR-15. Those are marketing gimmicks. He’s basically selling AR-15’s and marketing them as semi auto versions of M4’s M4’s are military grade fully automatic weapons. Just google it and then come back and apologize for being wrong.
  12. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

So you can legally buy fully automatic guns in Canada, eh?
  13. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

Don’t worry, you don’t. Those are either AR-15’s or some other clones but they are not M4’s You cannot legally own an M4 in the US unless you have a military grade special weapons permit. I’m at work but I’ll be happy to post a link to enlighten you when I get home.
  14. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

M4’s are fully-automatic, military grade rifles. AR-15’s “look like” M4’s but are semi-automatic and their barrels can’t hold up to heat like the barrel of an M4. They basically melt if you tried to shoot one like an M4 or if you tried to use a bump stock.
  15. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

M4? You can’t legally own an M4 without a special weapons permit in the US. Those are not easy to get.
  16. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

Yeah you can get extended magazines for semi auto’s. I was mostly referring to the rate of fire between a semi auto pistol and a revolver. You can pretty much shoot either as fast as you can pull the trigger...although semi autos are probably easier to pull.
  17. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

Well I’m glad the guy was apprehended without major casualties. But from first glance it sounds more like the guy didn’t really know what he was doing (Thank God) and that there were a few brave people that were willing to take him down vs any type of gun laws that you’ve implemented. No disrespect but if you can’t take 3 people out with a shotgun and several pistols then having a semi auto rifle would not have made much of a difference either, imo. If anything, the rifle would have been harder to control vs a shotgun and pistols. But at this point it’s all conjecture anyway. I’m glad no one was more seriously hurt.
  18. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

Tbh, most people that are well trained with guns can shoot a revolver about as fast as a semi-auto pistol. The only major difference is that a revolver probably only holds 6 rounds vs a semi auto that could hold 9 or more rounds in a magazine.

Twitter is a major source for breaking news. And not just for common people. Ask most beat writers, journalists, etc and just about every single one refers to twitter for breaking news. Or if it’s them breaking the story, you can bet they are tweeting it as well. It’s not even a question in 2019.
  20. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

    What type of pistols?
  21. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

So how would not reducing crime reduce gun violence?
  22. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

They don’t even show correlation tbh. I’m at work but from first glance they are all over the place. They seem to be more directly linked to crime levels than anything else. I’ll take a closer look when I get home later today.
  23. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

Have you looked at those numbers at all? They are all over the place and do not show causation. A country like Italy has around 12 guns per 100 and a gun death rate of 0.5 while a country like Honduras has around the same amount of guns and death rate of over 60.
  24. Mass Shooting at Walmart in El Paso

As long as you envision him as a red-headed ginger wearing all of that, you’re good to go.
  25. US Politics/Elections Thread

I never did. Others said it wasn’t traditional media. And I said that it was a source of news for millions of people and that social media is becoming the new media. Attention to detail, folks. In any case, it’s a matter of semantics, imo.
