  1. I would imagine there is going to be a companion single. Can’t imagine trying to sell the physical media with only one track.
I think COVID completely screwed the timeline for these releases. I know it has been said that these songs were worked on during the pandemic but hard Skool was being checked in 2019-2020 I believe.
I bet the original plan was

    2020-two singles

    2021-UYI box

    2022-two singles

    2023-two singles

I just hope there is some touring in fall 2024 so we get the last pair

I wasn't aware 29 and 31 were even in circulation. I've only seen the pics of Axl looking incredible and the reviews with him saying it was the first shows he wanted to play after the cancelled euro tour he knew nothing about and Rio/HOB where he was clearly sad and not ready.

I was at the 29th show. First time ever seeing Guns. It was insane

Chorus sounds great, bass is great, piano is up front… I like everything I hear except the solo, sadly. I am hoping it sounds a lot better in HQ. I don’t mind them keeping the Robin beginning if the editing is better in HQ. What gets me is the second half of Slash’s part. It almost sounds like the pitch is wrong. Obviously, that can’t be, so I’m hoping it just has to be heard with high quality. I thought that with the soundcheck video, too.

It’s vastly superior overall to the 2019 version. Everything is so much cleaner. Vocals just sound so good. That transition on the guitar solo is very strange. But the mix sounds great even recorded off a cell phone lol

The screenshot of the alleged CD list shared by @Sweersa, but without the audio files in the background, has been posted on the forum many times - last time before today was less than a month ago in the new album thread. Here it is again:

The question is if it actually surfaced *as is* before 2019. Some members say they had seen it, but I guess it wasn't on a public forum.

It was definitely on a public forum

The mods over at the GNR Reddit are hard at work removing any mention of the Perhaps/Touchtunes situation, even for people just talking about it. They say any links to illegal leaks are prohibited, never mind the fact that it isn't illegal to talk about a song publicly available in bars across the USA...

Don’t you talk about that cell phone recording of Perhaps (from touch tunes which I didn’t even know existed until 4 hours ago) or we will ban you lol. The unintentional comedy within GNR and its fan community is literally off the charts this year.

I'm like 90% sure I saw that list before 2019, but I could be wrong. I (and probably most people) didn't think Perhaps was a song title, I read it more like "Perhaps we'll include OMG2, Light My Fire, etc." at the bottom of the list.

I 100% saw that song list in 2011. There were a lot of arguments back then about it being fake and one of the majors arguments for it being fake was that people did not think perhaps was a song title

Someone with afterhours or whatever access to these jukeboxes may be able to utilize the "analog loophole" by recording the track through an output intended for speakers from the device. I've done this before. You can do it with Audacity and the right hardware, just want to make sure you don't clip the wave form and that it's recording the stereo tracks, if you clip the waveform it will sound like a Death Magnetic song.

Well can anyone do this? Any bar owners or employees on here?

Why? This has been discussed to death. He has his own band for creative output. GnR as creative band ended back in the 90s for him. He gets paid very lucratively for touring with GnR. There is no reason he should or would want to leave.

Exactly. You would have to be insane to leave that situation. It’s a license to print money

You obviously don't remember who we're dealing with here.

Most mllionaire rockstars don't log on to fanboards and call members "lesbian cunts", but Axl's not most millionaire rockstars.

True. But I also don’t see him calling Universal and saying I would like to delay the release of Perhaps. And the Universal executive says “why?” and Axl says “for spite.”

Some folks need to use some critical thinking here: That Linkfire page wouldn’t be activated, nor would anything be posted to it, much less a fully produced video, unless the band, label, and management were ALL on the same page regarding a promotional strategy. You remove one of those three from the equation, and the page stays dormant with nothing being posted to it: test code or otherwise.

SOME kind of promotional campaign was in place, but either “someone” got cold feet at the last minute, or they got pissed off that we found the page early and pulled the release to try to spite us.

Anyone trying to deny that is just lying to themselves.

Millionaire rock stars do not change a plan out of spite for nerds on the internet lol. This is not a Seinfeld or Curb Your Enthusiasm episode.
