  1. In a alternative universe, Axl will show up looking like 2006 with a voice like Dublin 2010, Brain comes back, Slash plays the solos better, new songs are played, no extended solo in Rocket Queen and Heavens Door, and the only covers in the set are Live and Let Die & Heavens Door.
  2. The "New Album" Thread

If GNR's or Axls problem is marketing then why not drop a new single every friday, with the last single the physical album comes out for the people who want the CD or Vinyl, while Spotify, Apple Music, etc... will only have the singles. Say 15 songs 15 weeks, if each song is released at once then it gets a fair share at making the charts.
  3. The "New Album" Thread

Here's another universe: Use Your Illusion Live Album + Perfect Crime Documentary 1994 GNR's 5 O'clock Somewhere 1995 Tour '95 - '97 Duff Mckagan Solo Album 1999 Axl Rose Solo Album 2000 Slash Solo Album 2001 New GNR Album 2003
  4. The "New Album" Thread

I'm thinking Fernando meant years instead of months. So guys you've heard here first but.... New GNR album coming 2025/2026.
  5. Joey Kramer sues Aerosmith

The first few Aerosmith records were pretty good. Rocks is probably the best Aerosmith record in my opinion, Back in the Saddle & Nobodys Fault are probably the best 2 on that album.
  6. Ozzy Osbourne announces he has Parkinson's Disease

My uncle's got Parkinson's had it for a few years now, like Sharon said theres good days and bad days, but unfortunately you can go downhill quickly in only a few years (like my uncle) or slowly. Either way my thoughts go out to Ozzy & the Osbournes.
  7. Also just heard a interview with a fan and Malcolm from around the time of the Backtracks boxset release (2009) and Mal said before Black Ice, they signed a 2 album deal with Sony, they've done 2 records since then so maybe since then they've been negotiating a new deal. During the time of the 2018 Vancouver photos and since then I meant.
  8. Like a year or so ago I heard a few rumors of the album being titled "White Falcoln" which is the guitar Malcolm used to record Highway to Hell - For Those about to Rock with, and has used live a few times eventhough he mostly uses his firebird.
  9. Been awhile since I've been hopeful for a release date, but honestly I'd say this is the last time I'm getting my hopes up. This better be it...
  10. The "New Album" Thread

Honestly that's what I meant lol, I couldn't think of the proper term so I just put opener.
  11. The "New Album" Thread

So heres my overall thinking about the whole AC/DC & GNR album / tour rumors. I've got a strange feeling AC/DC will be opening up for Guns this year over in Australia around September, Guns does a US tour July - August then too Australia. I believe for AC/DC they will be the opening act to test out Brian's hearing aids, if that goes well more touring, if not then AC/DC ended where it fucking started. We know Angus and Axl still talk back in 2018 Axl dedicated Heavens Door to Angus' dog & Angus and his wife sent Beta flowers for her birthday. Also imagine that huge fucking paycheck & that headline "GNR touring with new music with the opener being a reunited AC/DC".
  12. If Axl brings his A game, then we know GNR has been recording new material.
  13. The "New Album" Thread

For hardschool, cut the first 40 seconds, before the song kicks in, do a intro kinda like Hell Ain't a Bad Place to Be not as long though, cut the part 2:23 to 2:45 out, fix the verses & add a badass Slash solo. That's how'd I fix Hardschool.
  14. The "New Album" Thread

In my opinion Hardschool would work. About too many lyrics that's what Mutt Lange said about You Shook Me all Night Long and well we know how big of a hit that came. The rest I agree with you, and hopefully new material will go back to the original GNR formula.
  15. 2016 Houston Axl was almost 2010 level, listened to ISE the other day from that gig and holy shit it's like listening to young Axl hell the whole band that night was on top compared to a 2019 gig. Whatever Axl did that night he was on top, only if every gig after that he got better...
  16. The "New Album" Thread

So did Duffs it's on YT
  17. The "New Album" Thread

Well Slash's isolated guitar from Japan 2017 got leaked in 3 parts
  18. The song reminds of I Ain't no Nice Guy, which isn't a bad thing, but makes me miss Lemmy. The song is a fucking masterpiece though.
  19. Gives me hope for some badass solos on a new GNR record (if we get one)
  20. Well since we dont have the rest of the tracklisting for Ozzy's new album, who knows maybe Axl might be a guest a song but I'd say that theres a 1% chance of that happening.
  21. Dirty Honey

That last statement is 100% correct, but like you said GVF sounds too close to Zeppelin which everybody agrees on, while Dirty Honey you can hear many influences but can use put those influences into it's own entity just like GNR did with Appetite.
  22. Dirty Honey

I dont mind Greta Van Fleet, but the album Anthem of the Peaceful Army wasnt that good compared to the double EP. There whole image seems very PG to me which isnt Rock N Roll, and no I'm not saying Led Zeppelin was "PG" they sang about Rebellion, Sex, Drugs & Rock N Roll. Dirty Honey brings back the dirty n raw of Rock N Roll that's been missing for the last 20 - 30 years.
  23. Dirty Honey

I think this band is gonna go far, they sure as hell got the talent. I personally think Dirty Honey is the best true Rock N Roll band since GNR.
