Just a thought, Is it at all possible that the vocals are muffled and pretty low quality from the recordings of the vocals likely laying around for years unused? I know they arent analogue so they dont degrade so much but surely the amount of different computers and USBs the files were passed around on would create some type of degradation in the file itself?

Off topic, but Rock The Rock is actually a decent song and if thats what studio vox from Axl sounds like nowadays I'm impressed and would be interested to hear more

seeing as the general is completed it lends more creedence to the fact that them soundcheck clips last year may have been the general and quite awesome this will be the first track in however long that we havent actually heard leak yet
