  1. Have y'all checked it out? Just saw it on YT. Quite well done, imo... lyrics are a tad slower, but cleaned up the whole thing nicely from the live version.
  2. Steven Tyler still sounds incredible... don't know how.... but the dude is like 109 years old.
  3. I think art in general in all of its forms is time/ energy consuming. I agree...AI software is just a tool, much like a paint brush or musical instrument. Like said earlier, the artists creation is what comes from his mind. Photographs can be art. And is venture to say that a photograph can be produced much quicker than an AI assisted painting. Yet an artistic photograph is still considered art because the photographer planned the time, setting lighting exposure, etc to create the image in his/her mind eye.
  4. Hell I'm naked now.... that's gotta count for something.... Right??? Guys?? Hello?
  5. Not sure about now regarding Steven Tyler, but we were against stage when they were here for Jazzfest a few years back and he was singing that scream in dream on live. I love being next to stage when I can, cuz you can hear the singers actually singing into the mic. Gives you an idea of how good (or bad) they are. Sucks cuz I can't see myself buying pit tickets for any show at the current prices, so I only get to be that close at festivals and getting there when the gates open, run to the front and park myself there ALL day. Makes for A LONNNG day of holding your spot. But I'm a Mardi Gras vet, so I'm used to it.
  6. I'm starting to think that perhaps either you were in a rather bad section or me and the large group of my friends/ family that attended (which were directly across the arena from me) were in really good sections. Also the pit area from my vantage point looked like they were having a good time. I couldn't really see if those people in the floor seats behind pit were energized or not. I tried noticing, I just couldn't see them well enough. I will admit one thing for sure, it was an older crowd than all the other Guns shows I've attended. And you are right, by the time the last few songs went on, prolly a quarter (maybe) of the people were headed home. Just from what I remember looking at the arena as a whole. You could just see some empty seats mixed in with the crowd. Mostly on the floor. Or at least from what I could see. One definite beef i had with the venue though.... why so many floor seats? Perhaps it's not the venue and just how they set up these concerts now. But lower prices GA tickets on the floor would probably provide a more energetic crowd as a whole. There aren't many people posting 1500+ for pit. The TM price for those for seats were dumb as well.
  7. My opinions... Show was GREAT! I thought All sounded very good much of the night. But he obviously did have some weaker points. But honestly, I've seen them quite a few times since the reunion, and this was a really good night for him. The band itself was incredible and I'm not sure but at the end of Live and Let Die, Slash adlibbed some notes that REALLY stood out and I wish he would add more of that into the song. It wasn't major, but nice. If that makes sense. As was mentioned, Axl did get drowned out from time to time. More toward the end of the show than early on. And I don't think it was from him singing poorly or intentional. Everyone else is just set really high, so if be isn't adding power at those times he vanishes. It's not like what I thought was happening when I watch other videos. He still had a good bit of power and range even up until Paradise. Hard Skool, not so good this go. Perhaps was good, ABSURD was VERY GOOD (borderline GREAT). Although this may be an unpopular song to many, Wichita was GREAT. I certainly could go on and on. But ill just say again it was a REALLY good show. Some people I know that went, that weren't even big fans, LOVED the show. It was their first one and they raved about it. A saw a poster that wasn't at the show mention it looked dead at the show. I assure you, it wasn't. It was filled (very, very close to capacity of what was sold). Not everyone was bouncing around like teenagers, but I certainly looked like most were enjoying themselves. With a 3 1/2 show, there were some lulls. But they picked up the pace at just the right times.
  8. Are they coming on at 8 or 830 I have some people in the merch line
  9. I still have my ticket sub from seeing them there 31 years ago.....woah. sounds crazy when I say that aloud. Sound garden opened for them. Awesome show!! And me and a pretty large crew will be going again.
  10. It's almost as if most of these people don't quite understand how bands put albums together. Or that songs and ideas for songs are worked on for years, several years sometimes. I just don't get the complaint people have of when certain songs were written, thought of it worked on before their release. We have received new previously unreleased music and people complain. And to be honest, I truly like all of the new stuff. Is it the best stuff they've ever written, certainly not. But, to me, all very enjoyable songs.
  11. I had checked the views about 24 hours after it released on YT, it has 1m views. Which I thought was pretty good numbers. Haven't checked since day 2 such was about 1.5m views
  12. Not to judge... but I'll judge anyway. That's dumb...1 new song is the difference between going to a show or not?? I want new music too. But, call me a sucker, I'll go see them whenever they're close enough. I appreciate that the big 3 are back doing shows after believing for 20 years that it would never happen. I'll go and enjoy myself. While you stay at home and save your money, because, what, you didn't get 1 new song this year (yet). 🙄
  13. Or maybe...Schenker is playing on a new GnR track.....🫣🫣🫣🤔🤔🤔😂🤣😂
  14. Guns just isn't Hip Hop enough or Pop enough to garner the masses in America. Plus, to me there seems to be way more negativity in the States about so much, even more than just this band. IMO our current societal attitude toward so much is just crappy and I wish we'd seriously lighten up and enjoy life. We only get one of those.
  15. I honestly can't remember the year.... I'm 51 now and time flies... but if I remember correctly, it was after a Pelicans(Hornets) game shortly after they moved here...I think that was in 2002. So sometime in that time frame. I'm wondering if they weren't in town for another show and using that small venue as a warmup. I know some bands play bars for the fans and such. Without announcing. I know the team has been here 21 or so years.
