  1. Since there were two individual albums that made up Use Your Illusion, what do you think the odds are that the band releases separate box sets for Use Your Illusion I and II?

Price them both around $250 depending what's in them, so then, as it was with the albums themselves, the buyer can choose either the Illusion I box set, or the Illusion II box set. Naturally, most of us would buy both, I know I certainly would.

Bonus if The Spaghetti Incident on vinyl is included.

They had to have known that Australia was doubtful at best and even if Mexico wasn't on their radar, I hope someone considered the possibility of postponement because it happened.

Not sure about the future in Mexico, but Australia is done for. They're a country in civil war (no pun intended) due to the extreme COVID lockdowns. It's not going to end well there, and I feel bad for their citizens.

why the fuck is a 7” vinyl selling for $30? It's not shipping out until June but that doesn't shock me since the pandemic messed everything up with the vinyl factories.

I think they may have mixed up the price of the 7" single with that of a full length LP.

Which begs the question: Could there be a full length LP before the end of this year?

I really wish that Axl would give an interview with Slash. He could tell whats up with his voice and about the future plans of the band. Thats just a fantasy though. Watching the Denver show. Im enjoying it but just curious whats up with Axls voice? He didnt practise singing at all during 2020 has caused this detoriation in his voice? He had covid and this is a symptom of it? Who knows.

I think we all need to cut him some slack. He's going to be 60 in February. He's also been singing in hard rock/metal bands since at least 1983. That's so much wear and tear on your vocal chords, and as your body ages, those things just don't return to form as they did years before. It should be obvious.

I think Axl sounded his best in the early 90's, but he also sounded fine in 2006. He was 44 then. He sounded a lot better at that age than other guys like David Lee Roth and Vince Neil when they were 44.

There's no magic pill for singers to give them the voice they had 30 years ago, and face it, with Axl, his singing ability should not be expected to be the same after 30 years.

Perhaps that's part of the reason why he invited Slash and Duff to return to the band. Who wants to see a band with a single original member that can't sing the way he used to?

Yeah I love this Evel Knievel artwork for this show. I’m old enough to remember watching him live on tv when I was a kid. The Evel Knievel museum is in Topeka near where I live. It’s so cool- got tons of his bikes, Sky cycle prototype, his old semi trailer/ RV thing where he hung out before shows, helmets and leathers, you name it. Awesome museum.

I had a few of the Evel Knievel toys when I was a kid, also watched his jumps on TV when they were broadcast. Had a VHS tape years ago that showed nearly all of his jumps, while Evel reminisced about them as he was driving his RV. I don't think it was ever released on disc, though.

As bad as things looked in terms of ticket sales on Ticketmaster map recently it’s kind of a trip first 2 shows seemed almost full from the pics I’ve seen

The classic rock station in Boston, WZLX, was giving away at least one pair of tickets every hour on Monday. Not sure if there were other giveaways or drastically reduced ticket prices elsewhere.

I didn't go to this one. Not regretting it, but it would have been cool to see the debut of "Absurd" in person. I like the song musically and the way Axl sings it, but the lyrics are really juvenile, in my opinion. Seriously, "p*ssy full of maggots"? Maybe it's just the 50 year old me getting crotchety, but there is a female keyboardist in the band, too.

With the introduction of a new song and also "Hard Skool" still showing up on the list of alternates, it does bring a glimmer of hope that there could be at least an EP this fall.

Has anyone heard about them rehearsing for this tour. I will be seeing them Saturday at Hershey. There has been so much silence about the band

The silence is part of the reason why I'm not going to the Fenway Park show.

I'm not even fully convinced that with the mask mandate even for vaccinated people suggestions running rampant, that some of these shows will even happen.
