this is obviously bad for any band but specially for GNR who constantly get hate for their lyrics and Axl's past behavior against women. "Guns N Roses sued for sexual harassment" is an easy headline in the sense that people are already inclined to have that image for the band and this only increases that perception. Would be a good moment for them to execute action and fire Fernando, but -like many others have pointed out- they're literally Axl's family I doubt that business scheme is going to change anytime soon.

As a mexican I thought that Axl said what he said about the General because most of the audience doesn't speak english so there wasn't much case for a long speech about it, he didn't sound bothered and was very amicable when mentioning the volume being low.

fingers crossed this is not the case, but at these guys age the reality is that with a long break planned this might very well be the LAST GNR show ever... I don't know, it gives me the feelin' of saying goodbye and i'm appreciative of the 7 years we got back.

I probably would've been able to find a free ticket but the thing is the festival is in the outskirts of México City (where I'm from and probably most of the crowd as is the major metropolitan area near the field) so the really tricky thing would be the transportation or an air b n near the show.

I'm so close to this show but unfortunately i'm flat out broke. Hopefully i'll have another chance sooner than later...

totally agree. Having seen this version of Guns 3 times I can tell you that his work on the Chinese songs is totally awful and carelessly improvised.

brother everyone's budget is different, specially when it comes to entertainment purposes and in a board with members from all over the world. I've been a member of this board for almost 17 years and while I have seen various GNR shows, money has been a huge factor on not seeing others.

Thanks for keeping us in mind but I think you might have gotten more from Tommy in another situation and not coming in with the Clark Kent persona straight away. He seemed pretty open to the topic though, I don't think it was the right scenario to have a profound conversation about his feelings towards Guns or ChiDem and doubt that if he had any negative feelings he would've opened up to a totally random person outside a venue.

like many have said - it is what it is and good for the label to make their money back. Obviously the question of how much money the label was making by selling GNR's album and if it was fair from a humanistic perspective will always be there, but a deal's a deal and since the Illusions era you could argue that the band was throwing money away by renting expensive studios for months, bunch of equipment and techs, etc. It's a point that various members have noted in their bios and for Axl to keep delaying the album so much was lunacy. Of course Mr. Rose himself came here and gave his perspective on the whole ordeal and how there was always a conspiracy behind his back to reunite the old band but I'm glad that at least we got some music released with a decent master in the 20+ plus years I've been a fan.
