Point is 90+% of Axl's twitter followers are South American & don't even understand what his tweets mean ...

And most of the English comments I did see were in support of Republicans! haha

But twitter is the place where he speaks his mind. It can be seen here and in other places. That's how social media works. It is not about republicans telling him to fuck off or people from other places who don't speak english. It is about his point of view being out there for everyone to see.

In fairness, any human being with a brain is against your President.

Wrong, the Real people are with the president. Only those who have been infected by the 'Trump Derangement Syndrome'  are against him.

It's not odd if you realize that his opposition to Trump has nothing to do with Trump's allegedly being "anti-establishment" but likely everything to do with Trump being an awful human being and a terrible President.

Terrible President? huh? Take a look at the results. He's the best President Ever

and "awful human being"? based on what, Fake News CNN? ;D

FAKE NEWS

I'd like to hear you pick one of those lines and tell me why its wrong. Everything he said was spot on.

We know the
tax bill(for the rich) has caused the budget deficit to balloon and is expected to exceed over $1 trillion in the next couple of years.

Tax bill was for middle class

Trump has a long history of attacking people of color and immigrants. I don't need to source this. Just listen anytime he opens his fat mouth.

Wrong, Trump attacks everybody, nothing to do with color of the skin

He did praise a Congressman for body slamming a journalist

Liberals have no sense of humor

He refused to condemn white supremecists at the Charlottesville rally. Instead he condemned "both sides" as being the problem. Equating actual Neo Nazis with counter-protests. Classy...

Trump did that numerous times and the liberals just refuse to hear it when he does.

GOP's record on LGBT and minorities is self explanatory.

Trump has cheated on his wife with porn stars like Stormy Daniels, even during Melania's pregnancy. These are facts. He is a serial philanderer and absolutely zero respect for his wife or any women for that matter.(Never forget "Grab em by the pu$$y)

He said "they let you do it"

Trump praises Putin, Duterte, the Saudi Royal Thugs, and worst of all, Kim Jong Un. He even said he befriended Kim and that he loves him. That's right, he said he loves a mass murdering dictator.

He's had numerous cabinet and campaign members indicted on federal offenses. Michael Flynn, George Papadopolous, Paul Manafort, Michael Cohen, Rick Gates, etc

Funny how that works, all have zero relation to Trump.

And he did boast about sexually assaulting women. See the Hollywood Access video.
See your selective hearing. once again Trump said: "They let you do it"

I think you mean "those who have received an education".

I see you have none

One would almost be tempted to consider that once the world kicks this clown to the curb that the US just might need some reeducation camps? Nah, but thats harsh and tyrannical. But... but, in the case of the US they would simply be "education camps" so thats not as bad, right?

It's really funny how "civic" you think Rose is being by telling his million SOUTH AMERICAN NON ENGLISH SPEAKING followers to "vote blue" ... Right in line with how the Dems do it .. LOL

What do South American people got to do with this election?

The point they are trying to make is that most of Axl's followers are from South America, so tweeting about an American election is apparently useless. Its a very weak point but that's what they are saying.

Also implying that the Democratic party reaches out to people who don't speak English to vote for them. Which is apparently a problem.

He is claming that most of his followers are from South America and they don't speak english. In his view it doesn't make sense for Axl to post about American politics on twitter. He doesn't seem to understand that a post on twitter get everywhere. I found out about his post here. We all speak english here. I'm sure it got posted in other GN'R forums as well. And the U.S. music media sooner or later are gonna post about it. Or talk about it

Well, that's ridiculous.

First of all, many of us in Latin America DO speak and/or understand English. Second, one would have to be really stupid to assume or even demand that a person from the U.S.A. will not or should not talk/tweet about their interests, their country, city, town, etc. :shrugs:

The media already is talking about it - I'm not saying "Axl can't speak politics on Twitter" - Next said that! FAKE NEWS (; - What I'm saying is Axl's social media presence in the US market isn't that large so it's not really anything "special" that he's endorsing a Democratic ticket - Just another useless celebrity endorsement no one cares about & won't affect anything!

That's a super interesting statistic you posted. Any sort of facts to back that up with? No? Axl is a world wide superstar with fans all over the world and 90% of them are most definitely NOT from one country?

OK sweet. Moving on.

I didn't actually do a scientific study, but you can just click on anyone of his tweets and you'll see 90+% of responses in Spanish & a very clear lack of understanding ... most English replies are the SA's letting Axl know they don't understand!!

If the media is already talking about it. If we are talking about here. Then it is not useless and people do care about what Axl says, politcs or anything else. It might have no effect at all in the outcome of the election. But if Axl wants to make a public endorsment. It is his twitter account. So he has the right to endorse whatever he feels like it. I think also Duff posted a picture of a ballot envelope on his social media.

I am from South America, I have nothing to do with USA elections and politics (until certain point, though) and it does not affect me who Axl is voting for.

As a fan, in my opinion, what is "important" is that a guy who claimed to have NEVER voted before has now decided to validate his opinion, just like any other citizen living in a democracy.

56 year old Axl Rose is not inspiring anyone to get out & vote Democrat ... He's a multi-millionaire LA rockstar with a small American fanbase ... It's honestly pandering in a way

How could you be so sure about that? Maybe some people who still look up to him and have never voted before, start thinking about it.... why not? Even if it's one person, that's great!

I really can't see anything negative about "Axl woke" decided to vote...... except that he might have just disappointed his Republican fans?

Oh well, guys.... :shrugs:

Oh, OK. So what you meant to say was "90% of the people who reply to him are..." not "90% of the people who follow him are..."

Wow, you sure showed me...

(and everybody else in this thread who has used actual evidence to demonstrate why Trump is a terrible President).

Oh boy, good luck with that "evidence"

Don't spend too much time in your bubble

Record unemployment for African American and all the minorities. Lowest unemployment for women in 65 years. Lowest unemployment for veterans ect.

Economy is doing better than ever. (Even though Obama is trying to take credit, very shameful what he's doing)

Obama was playing with funny money with zero interest ratings

Trump has yuge interest ratings already.
