Trump’s presidency has been a national disgrace and history will judge him poorly. I don’t need to list all of the lies, unethical and hypocritical behavior, self-serving actions, and national discord he has sowed on this platform, but with regard to Axl, I am 100% proud that he is doing what is right for his beliefs and his music. It may cost him some fans and maybe a few dollars at the ticket office (although debatable), but at least he is speaking his mind and not numbly going through the motions (my view of this 2018 leg). And hopefully he turns a vote or two. To me and I am sure others, it restores some level dignity and sincerity to the band and Axl. I don't discount that money is a factor with Guns, but I still don't believe that if that were the only reason we'd see them touring still. The band made more than enough money in 2016 to last them a lifetime or two. Axl, Slash, and Duff likely now have more than enough to live on for the rest of their lifetimes at current standards. In the paper here it's just being reported on, and they mention artists like Rihanna, Pharrell and the Prince estate have had the same complaints. Why would people laugh at Axl for that?
