James Bond Posted June 12, 2012 Share Posted June 12, 2012 The 10 or so Bond movies that have been released on Blu-ray so far had a limited release as steelbooks. Too bad the only full set I can find on eBay is like $600. I'm definitely glad I held off though. When MGM had that bankruptcy thing going on a couple years ago I figured that'd get in the way of releasing the rest of the films on Blu-ray, which it did. And which do you think is your favorite?erm...I'll have to get back to you on that.Ever go though one of those phases where you get a pille of new ones that sit around unfiled for awhile?Well that's where I'm at right now.Pretty sure I have over 50 blu Criterions alone though.(and the GOLD RUSH should arrive any day)..The 39 Steps and the Samurai Trilogy soon to follow.Favs?...gotta think about that..particularly fond of my Akira Kurosawa collection.(Seven Samurai )Keep going back to Ladies and Gentlemen,The Rolling Stones though...may have played that more than any other. Hell, those Scream movies I bought are still in the plastic (granted I got them with a giftcard, but still). I've got a bunch more that I got weeks and even months ago that are still unopened! Then there are the ones that I opened, but still haven't watched I don't have any Criterion Not really too, too many that I want, honestly. Though there are some; Gojira, 12 Angry Men, Being John Malkovich, etc.I still have yet to get any Stones on blu, also, even though I asked you a bunch of opinions on them weeks ago. Also, traded some of my digital copies (I don't use them) to someone online for a copy of War of the Worlds, so I'm pretty excited about that. Read some reviews and it looks like the video and especially audio quality are great.
