rock4eva
As I expected, he sounds terrible. Do you just copy and paste all of your posts, they all sound exactly the same.Maybe you'd better get the wax cleaned out of your ears, you're not hearing the same sound as most of the people attending the concerts. You got it, all he ever does is complain. We get it, you don't like his voice anymore. Quit trying to ruin the people who have attended or will be attendings perception. Let em decide for themselves. Your act is old.Made 1 six word comment in this thread after I saw the vids from the show. Of course the worship crew goes full apoplectic and blows it entirely out of proportion. Not the worship crew but people here are called "fans" of the band and this is a guns n roses forum. You continually rave on about how bad Axl sounds, that doesn't go down well with people who like the band. Negative criticism is fine but I've not seen you make a positive comment on Axl's singing at all, maybe you could direct us to where you thought he sounded great.I've been there many times, my friend. Including in the past year. You can tell his voice is weak, but it is usually drowned in other sounds. On the videos, you can hear his voice more distinctly. I'm tired of this retarded argument. If you like how he sounds, fine. I don't like it. We're allowed to disagree last time I checked. You've been to concerts many times are you saying? Why would you go to concerts where the singer always sounds "bad as usual"?
trqster
He sound like he sounded through the 2012 tour. His voice is not embedded in the music in that jungle version like it is on other versions on youtube and reveals his short breathtakes and other half cheating tricks he always use. The rasp is not gone but the "crisp" in the sound (around 7-9kHz) is low and thats where the rasp lies. I can promise you that once we have another jungle version uploaded you will hear the difference.Lolfail mate......the first verse....and chorus until shananan Knees....... I'm just afraid one of these days it's gonna be the whole song like the first verse...

Jungle he always nails so when he starts it off like that it worries me for how his vocals are going to hold up in the future. He sounded fine on the rest of the song though. Havn't we all figured out by now that he turns on the rasp whenever he wants to by watching videos? So that would mean he sang that first verse clean purposely.Opening scream raspy, first verse clean, and then back to the old rasp again for the rest of the song. I wouldn't worry about it to much.
Mrs.Cow
I was at the Sydney show on Tuesday night, and also at Sydney 2010.Sydney 2010 was just magic in every way. There's plenty of video evidence to support this, and for those that were there it was even better! Tuesday night we had a great time, but vocally, it wasn't great or consistent. I think you have to remember that when you're at a concert you are getting a whole experience, and therefore vocals are not necessarily as important. I mean they are, but when you watch video, you're missing the atmosphere. It's pretty easy to focus on the whole show when your'e there. There were lots of satisfied people around us having a ball...except for one old fan who didn't own CD and felt the need to bitch when something off it was played. We had families with young kids around us too, that was pretty cool. On the whole though, the crowd was pretty sedate. Moments of crazy, but overall with the exception of the first few rows at the barrier, things were pretty quiet. We would definitely go again. Having said that, there's still a great time to be had at shows and most people enjoy it. The band is always amazing. Axl puts on a great show. People have mixed emotions about his vocals but the majority of the people that actually go to the shows leave satisfied. From what I've heard so far, Axl sounded better at these shows than in Vegas. Last night's best moments eclipsed Vegas' though.
TiedHands
I'm actually really diggin' this stage set up with the smaller screens on each side of the stage, and the new backing videos are waaaaaaaaaay better than the old ones. And damn, Ron is a beast. He's so fuckin' lean and mean now. I'm glad he's turned a corner physically...

Guest
Hopefully these photos can be viewed. Didn't get any ZZ or Tattoo shots unfortunately - but they were fucking AWESOME - wish I had. Any video of their performances (more so ZZ) about? And great to meet you as well Screamin' and DownUnderScott; good spot we had I take it?http://www.facebook.com/media/set/?set=a.230739023730876.1073741826.100003843401553&type=1&l=393439bf87The Seeker was the ABSOLUTE HIGHLIGHT of the night. That should be played more often - and I quite like Objectify as well. Edited March 18, 2013 by Guest
