Heh...Alice and Chains, without Lyne Staley, pulled in 50,000 people there? That's like three times as big of an audience that they played before while headlining at the height of there career. That shits crazy. Pearl Jam I can see. But AIC? We're they with 5 or 6 other bands or what?

When bands come to play here they only do one or two gigs per country, so many people from different cities attend. Almost any international band could easily sell 50k tickets here. It's usual for you to have big bands playing close to you, but not for us.
machinegunner
Always wondered how come they get such big numbers at gigs in South America. Are tickets extra cheap or what?
ManetsBR
Concert tickets are the most expensive in the whole world here.
machinegunner
I paid $170 in Sydney, how much do you pay there? That was Gold ticket though (before all the extra charges), I think GA was about $90 (base price). Edited April 12, 2013 by machinegunner
ManetsBR
GA here is divided in two at the half. Regular GA is 150$ and the Premium GA is 300$. The only difference is that Premium is closer to the stage.
machinegunner
Man that's pretty high. I'm assuming you translated the prices into $US.
