There are a lot of Trek ''guest alien'' actors in this, Eric Pierpoint and Gary Graham (Ambassador Soval, Enterprise) who is a dead-spit for Mick Jagger incidentally, as well as Data's girlfriend. Took some stuff from The Exorcist 3 movie which freaked me out! hope this show comes back too. Blilndspot This show is so out there. If this shit really did happen in NYC, the people would go crazy from fear! What makes me laugh is how long people wait until they see a doctor and then some of the doctors say it's okay and they eventually have to go to the hospital because they have some horrible parasite inside them killing them. One guy just came back from Peru and had these bites all over his legs. He never figured he might have some weird bug infection. Finally when he gets this opened wound on his wrist and these knots up his arm, he sees a specialist. It would an infection from a fly bite he got in Peru. Unreal. He's still undergoing treatment. I read the book years ago, but it was slow and I don't remember it at all. I like Luke Evans, so I watched it. It was very good. More so than the book. The characters are so messed up and this time in NYC was so messed up too. Cops were Irish and on the take and hated any other nationality of people calling them by terrible names. I honestly don't know why any immigrants came to the US at all. Anyway, the show is very graphic in nature, so for anyone who doesn't like that, I do, don't watch it.
