Chainsforalice Posted January 16, 2014 Share Posted January 16, 2014 Been reading up on various other bands who had a main duo, In particular Johnny & Joey Ramone, they hated each other as sad as it may be and refused to talk outside of the band for decades but kept it going for the fans, & Joey wouldn't even accept Johnny's call when he was on his death bed. Axl wanted to expand Gn'R sound with all kinds of influences from the 90's, Slash said he, Axl, wanted to turn Guns in a new Pearl Jam.Slash, on the other hand wanted to keep that classic, vintage hard rock sound.
