Damn_Smooth
The tour might flop?Yes. It's still on time for them to do something about it, but do you think they will? Not too late for Axl to apologize to Slash.........................the reunion starts now!........................ Other way around bro. You've bought into the delusion.Didn't Slash actually go to Axl's house to talk about it - face-to-face...........and Axl sent Beta to the front door to send Slash away? Wouldn't even sit down and talk to him, man-to-man. That's pretty weak. Even the biggest Axl cult members can't really turn that into an Axl positive and Slash negative.I don't tend to like drunk idiots showing up on my doorstep in the middle of the night either. How was that? While I get this, I think it would piss Axl off more if he showed up during daytime hours, while Axl's sleeping.True, but it's Slash. It's gonna piss Axl off if he's awake or not. Rustycage
Sorry but refusing to answer your own door in that situation is a bitch move. It's not like it was Vince Neil or something.
Indigo ChiId
A tour failure is exactly what Axl needs. Once he sees he can't even fall back on touring, it would hopefully kick some sense into him to start focusing on studio music instead.Or even better, maybe a phone call to Slash? I honestly believe if they actually featured Guns N Roses members for a Guns N Roses tour, that would help matters tremendously. Then they wouldn't have to rely soley on the young and naïve. ManetsBR
The article is a bit sensationalist. Yes GNR are yet to heavily push the Tour, but a lot of the "points" are clutching at straws.First of all, how can he determine the age demographic of GNR social media? Did he visit every single profile? It's January. They have two long months to heavily promote the Tour. The maximum ticket price is $300. So what? That's a moot point. What percentage of a ticketbuyers seek premium-rate tickets?I would also question his logic that people won't go because they saw the band in 2010. Surely if it was a good show they'd be more inclined to see another?Facebook gives us tons of stats regarding the likes. There are almost 200 thousand likes on the page, I think that's more than enough to estimate the medium age of the fans.I that logic he presented is just fine. I know a lot of people who weren't diehard GNR fans and went on 2010 because they were curious and that are not going this time.

Pinball Wizard
I bought my ticket today. Within 2 hours or so after my purchase the first batch of premium tickets had already gone, and now they are selling their second batch, 30 reais more expensive. So I think you can maybe say the tickets are selling well, considering its prices and the fact today is only the FIRST DAY people who are not members of nightrain can make their purchase. ManetsBR
It was stupid from Slash to show up drunk and from Axl for not talking to him. Can we just move on? That's not the issue here.

But I expect the numbers to be a lot less than hoped for.

hellobeatle
I'm sure an experienced & professional concert promoter who's going to dump hundreds of thousands (or more) of dollars into a concert did his homework beyond checking fucking Facebook stats lol...

Indigo ChiId
Maybe it is possible that South America is finally realizing that the 1990s are over. Broskirose
6- And now, the main reason why I believe this concert will be empty: You have to older than 16 years old! What?!I just checked our page statistics, and from the almost 200 thousand people that like the page, the VAST MAJORITY comes from people younger than 16 years old. The fans who enjoy the most this new line-up are the youngest. And also, who's 16 or 17 years old will have to pay twice the price of the ticket so that someone "legally responsible" can take tham.
