Not a fan of Godfather theme, honestly. My favorite solo is probably Blacklight Jesus. I saw Slash twice, in on of the shows he played Jizz Da Pit and in the other, Godfather Theme. I liked Jizz Da Pit a lot more.

Its not that I don't agree. I think its more the fact that its older and we've heard it endlessly that its lost its magic. At the time it really was extremely cool. The others are either newer or we got so little of them that they are still fresh when you revisit (Bucket). I don't think people give the Godfather one enough credit in its actually construction of being a great solo. Slash made that an iconic solo and gave the feel to it that no one else really good. Personally, I don't actually love the solo and its the part I skip whenever I watch old concert videos. BUT, of the solos we've had from GNR guitarists, its just a stone cold classic that you can't beat. And I'm really not just saying that because its Slash.

At the Slash show I saw in 2012, the blues solo was an event. At the GNR shows I have been to, I have enjoyed each solo spot, but they aren't the flagships like Slash's

Godfather Theme by far, although I have to say that I also like a couple of the other tracks. I also think that "Mi Amor" isn't that bad, I might even consider it okay.

It would help them to play something people can sing along to, that's partly why Slash's one is so good.

Even though I think Bucket is amazing I feel like he can do better than that.

Bumblefoot is really good as well, but I wish he'd play something original cause I'm not a fan the Pink Panther theme.

Same for Richard, I would love to listen something original from him, cause after all, it's the James Bond theme.... but had to vote for him cause he simply nailed it.

Ashba's looked a little "easy" for a solo.

Slash played the Godfather when I saw him last year and I still get chills thinking about it. It's just one of those things you see and know you'll never forget.

Watching that Bucket video only reminds me how utterly ridiculous GNR had become. Thank fuck he's gone.
