The last time I was really arsed about football was probably in the late 90's when Middlesbrough had a half decent premiership squad. This was when Ravenelli (a 30 goal a season champion's league winner) cost £7 million. Juninho was only £4.5 million. I live less than 300 yards from Altrincham FC's ground. I've not been to a game yet but quite fancy getting into a local side in the lower leagues where I can actually take the family for less than the cost of a new car.
