highvoltage Posted July 20, 2015 Share Posted July 20, 2015 Gifv embedding (via gfycat) was working on desktop early last year, but it caused issues on Safari in iOS. Whenever a page with a gifv post was loaded, the iOS video player would automatically launch (causing the phone to switch apps without user intervention).I think I was just trying a bit too early-on, I'd guess most of the older GIFV/HTML5 video compatibility issues will be fixed by now.
