PV is hit or miss, I thought their exposure of that journalist regarding Epstein was top notch. This is a little low level to be very interesting.

The most interesting thing about this one is the veiled threats. If a right wing guy was saying shit like this on camera they'd have the DOJ on their ass immediately.

I don't know what Project Veritas is, but if this guy does indeed somehow work for Bernie, Bernie needs to de-associate with him.

This guy is clearly insane, possibly dangerous.

As you critique capitalism from a device that is able to be sold because of capitalism. Name one successful socialist country. No Scandanavia does not count because they are hybrid capitalistic.

Why can't you directly address a topic without redirecting to some Stormfront talking points

You should not call people you don't agree with a white nationalist. You cant and will not win any debate by doing that

They are not 100%  pure socialistic state they are a mixed economy/  I asked if he can name a true socialistic state and he called me a white nationalist

Name me anybody who is advocating for a true socialist state by your definition then? I can't think of a single politician running for election this year that is promoting anything of the sort so I'm not sure what your argument is.

Let’s refrain from labelling others we don’t agree with as white nationalists.

A discussion on capitalism and socialism isn’t inherently related to racial politics in the abstract.

Thanks.

A democratic socialist is not a socialist. They are capitalist with government oversight.  Bernie is calling himself a "Democratic Socialist" to get gullible of my generation to vote for him. He is advocating for government control, not a mixed economy. He wants to Nationalise industries

Nothing in that article supports your position that Sanders is a socialist and not a democratic socialist.

Socialism is when workers or the state controls the means of production. That’s the root definition of socialism.  Nothing in Sanders platform, other than the nationalization of the nation’s healthcare system, argues for the state to decide the means of production within the economy.

He is advocating for the green new deal which takes over the American economy  He is calling for Government-sponsored college/University. He wants a nationalised health care system controlled by the government. Free Housing. Eliminating debt which is sponsored by the US government

None of that screams capitalistic

Oh, there is this gem. He loves Breadlines

I'm going to break my own rule here because quite frankly, I've never met someone who deserves it more than you:

You're either an idiot or someone not worth people's time.

There are a million current examples of the U.S. government (TARP relief, subsidies to oil and gas companies, progressive tax rates, federally run K-12 education, social security, medicare, bailouts to farmers who are going bankrupt because of Trump's trade wars, federally insured home mortgages, the make-works project that is the U.S. military) that any knowledgeable person would see as a redress to capitalism.  No one who seriously understands what the U.S. is and what it is not would make a point as dumb as the one you're making.  So my question is are you just that dumb (which I don't think you are) or do you enjoy wasting other people's time with such nonsense (which seems more likely)?

As for your 12 second clip of Bernie Sanders, he's claiming bread-lines are better than people starving to death.  Yeah, terrible.

Seriously, what the fuck is wrong with you?

Wait, I don't care.

Quite frankly, if you want to continue posting on this forum, please refrain from posting in the politics section.

Your posts either either rife with ignorance or are made in bad faith.  Myself, and I assume most everyone else who posts here, don't have time for either.

There's no point in discussion anything with you since you seem incapable or unwilling to have a legitimate discussion.  You just spew nonsense right-wing talking points whether there's any tangential relationship to the truth or not.  You seem more interested in antagonizing those you don't agree with.

So with that, you're done in this thread.

If you want to continue this conversation please send me a PM.  Any and all responses in this thread will be deleted.  Failure to adhere to this instruction will result in your removal from this forum altogether.  You have been given plenty of leeway in this discussion and I'm done with it.

For 2020 I only want to spend the little free time I have discussing these matter who have a genuine interest in them.  You clearly don't.  So kindly, move along.

Come on Downzy, you are better than this.  Please don't be an authoritarian dictator around here bruh.  What makes this place special is the fact that "Anything Goes" and yes, everyone has their opinion.  It's ok to disagree.

Take the higher road, my friend.

It's not about being a dictator, but enforcing rules relating to trolling conversations that are heavily enforced elsewhere on the forum.

Look, it's not as though we don't allow for wide variety of viewpoints or perspectives in this thread.  There are several regular posters in this forum with a politics I don't agree with but they keep things respectful and most importantly, are not solely and actively trolling others with their viewpoints.

If you read back the last six months, you'll notice that the particular poster in question showed a track record of antagonizing posters, regardless of their political ideologies.

The problem of the last three to ten years is that trolling has become a political ideology unto itself.  Political of contempt or antagonism has rendered many discussions on good faith all but impossible.  If someone has continually demonstrated an unwillingness or inability to accept or agree about basic and unequivocal facts solely to push a partisan or tribal narrative, then it's not worth it to have that person around.  If after pages of discourse in which the person's original position has been proven to be nothing more than a sad attempt to antagonize those they are conversing with, why give quarter to such a person?

Again, we have strict rules relating to trolling that are regularly enforced elsewhere on this forum.  Despite what others might think, we give more leeway in this thread because of the recent marriage between a political ideology (Trumpism) and valid political discourse.  But it gets to a point where the moderating team, in our efforts to facilitate genuine and worthwhile discussion, where the rules must be enforced.  This person isn't the last person to be shown the door for their unwillingness or incapability of having a discussion in good faith nor do I expect them to be the last.

He's a 21 year old Ben Shapiro listener. I don't think he's trolling, he actually believes his talking points. Which might be the more scary thing.

It's not so much about where people get their information or whether they believe it.  Everyone, including myself, believes something that is likely wrong or inaccurate.  The concern is that we allow discussion amongst people who are at least open to information and facts that run counter to their current or previous held beliefs.  In other words, if it takes ten or more responses to someone claiming there's no evidence that Trump did what Democrats accuse him of doing, then that person is either not informed and not willing to be informed or isn't interested in having a legitimate discussion about the topic.

It's the people who argue the sky isn't blue on a sunny day are those that won't last long here, regardless of whether we're discussing U.S. politics or GNR.

Nancy Pelosi interrupted by soap again and honestly I have no idea what the hell she was talking about? She sounded confused and was constantly messing her words up and what she was saying?

OMG, is everyone in this government confused over everything?

We are in HUGE trouble.

The votes will be announced later on today. I honestly hope if there is an impeachment trial all the channels don't air it. I'm so sick of looking and hearing all these politicians yelling at each other.
