And as the Ramones are one of TOP3 best bands ever, the place means alot. It is a crime that they let it close down and let some mediocre restaurant to open in its place. Absolutely part of their club. At the time Guns N' Roses played there it was called CBGB Record Canteen.http://www.cbgb.com/templates/default/images/about-us-1.jpgWhen it became CB's 313 it was still part of CBGB. They had a performance space in the basement of CB's 313 that was very chill, with lots of couches, candles and a small stage, with more laid-back acts.
