Axl has been withdrawn for a lot of years in the 90's, at one point he became the most reclusive musician around, so apparently he doesn't need as much attention as you seem to think. To be honest if he did retire I wouldn't hold it against him because he doesn't owe us anything. Axl also has not brought any of this reunion speculation about, just because he's on talking terms with Slash. Appearing on Jimmy Kimmel..I'm thinking either announcement of the next album or a remastered blu ray/dvd release of a classic lineup show or a reunion of AFD lineup with ex members and nu gnr members. Or '96 if u wanna count when Slash left...hes released one album and done sporadic touring, nothing id call a regular basis or an active musician.
