[Metallica] 'Hardwired... to Self-Destruct' \\//\\// WorldWired Tour Discussion

Watched this concert last night. James still commands attention. He is a beast up there, and holds everything together. He sounds better than he did 10 years ago. Rob is more understated, but he's as solid as can be for a metal bassist.

But Kirk and Lars are still sloppy as hell. I'm sure it's hidden enough in a live setting, but on a livestream, their mistakes really show. Kirk especially. Was still a great show, though. Love the fact that Blackened was part of the last encore.

I don't mind Lars's drumming on this tour. Makes mistakes here and there but it's not bad at keeping up the tempo I think. But Kirk is hitting a new low.

don't care about majoritiy whininig about James/Rob split verses - I like it :D

Rob isn't great singer but kind of like his rough perfomance here... I would like live intro - but since they decided to put it as start of encore I can pass around this...

So - only 3 new songs to coplete the album. Anyone expect of them to play it full in one night sometime on this tour?

This was cool of Rob and Kirk to do in Manchester.

I wish I could've got tickets for the Manchester show but I'll be there in Birmingham tonight for the last show of the UK tour, looking forward to it :)

Len will blow a fuse if he sees that.

that puppets 3CD set is brilliant. imagine guns giving appetite the same love.

the live compilation cd has made me remember why i like this band in the first place. it sounds like it was recorded with a potato at times, but the energy bursts out of the speakers regardless. essential purchase.

My days of seeing 3+ arena/stadium acts a year are over. Its horrible how difficult it has become over the past couple of years. Now instead of worrying about high prices you also have to worry about sites like ticketmaster purposely withholding tickets to make fake demand and purposely putting seats on reseller sites for even more money. It isnt worth it and is happening for all shows ran by them

Fuck that, Ive seen all my big "must sees" anyways
